Benevolent Old Gods

Description
800 hours and counting! My latest build was a Breton Female Archer/Mage consoled to be in the Forsworn Faction and felt like the Armor of the Old Gods needed a bump to near end game quality so she would look the part. Its light armor, better than Glass, not as good as Dragonscale, muffled the feet and made it mage friendly otherwise (2 MagRate and 1 Mag). Initially doubted anyone would care, but obviously I was wrong! Let me know of any incompatabilities you all come across.

Don't have a mage character have an overall did everything type of character so don't really wear armor other than custom enchanted but still nice to collect the armor and not be shitty like regular bandit armor

I was sort of thinking of making Madanach a very powerful but non essential NPC that if killed in a raid or defending Markarth the other named Forsworn from the 'NOECM' quest recoqnize you as the King/Queen by right of being the dragonborn of the age, and maybe the first ever native aboriginal dragonborn from Skyrim. My hunch is that the Forsworn stick together and wouldn't whack their own king for power.

@Cj
So kind of like the rieklings of thirsk hall from dragonborn dlc? you kill the chief and become the chief?

In the vanilla game the set is given to you as a gift by Madanach and his band of merry forsworn just as you exit the dwemer ruins you pass through to escape Chidna Mine, the quest basically starts with Eltrys and 'The Forsworn Conspiracy', and continues after your arrest with 'No One Escapes Chidna Mine'. You must choose to keep Madanach alive at least until he gives you the set, although killing him contradicts the whole being a forsworn thing, unless of course YOU now become leader of the forsworn in exile (hmmm, think that might have a place in the story line I'm cooking up!)

Significanlty more advanced creation kit skills than mine would be needed to make a riekling playable, but I'm certain it could be done. I'm debating the notion that I have the time and inclination to create a mod that allows, after all main and side quests are completed in Markarth, that as a Forsworn player characher and Madanach (Forsworn king in exile from "No One Escapes Chidna Mine" quest) along with several camps of combined Forsworn take back Markarth, then deal with both the Imperials and the Stormcloaks trying to take it from you in a continual radiant raid type situation. My Papayrus is weak and there are many better modders than I around, but I am reading through the tutorials and playing around with it now, this is my first mod to publish, I'm piddling around with some others in my game only, one is basically a trash can of all the small changes I like to make to get a little more realism and immersion.
