Mod Compatibility Hack

This mod aims to resolve two major problems with the modding api, without requiring modders to change anything within their mods.

1: Callbacks
Several callbacks, namely GET_SHADER_PARAMS and all PRE_COLLISION callbacks, can only be added once across all mods, meaning the first mod to load that uses one is the only one that works at all.

This mod overrides the AddCallback, RemoveCallback, and RegisterMod functions to resolve this.

2: Saves
Currently, whenever a mod is updated or unsubscribed from, you lose all of its data.

This mod resolves this by storing all mod data itself, so as long as this mod isn't unsubscribed from and is left enabled, all save data will be safe. It'll even automatically store all existing save data, so you don't need to worry about losing everything when you initially download this mod.

Is it possible to do something about the framerate thing?
Pentazer Oct 4 @ 9:13am
Bad framerate due to this mod, had to remove it, was totally trashing game performance.

this mod fucks the framerate

for some reason i lose about 20fps with this mod installed. disabling it doesn't help, has to be totally deleted. it actually seems to decrease the game speed, not just the framerate. doesn't seem to have anything to do with performance, since this is on a 1080 Ti and a threadripper 1950X. cpu and gpu usage never go above 20% with this game running. it just seems to have rendering issues which somehow this particular mod interferes with. tried it with other mods disabled, the only thing that has any effect on the game speed is deleting the mod. i don't mean this in a critical way because this is extremely valuable and it seems to work for most people, i just hope this issue can be solved. for me it's not as dramatic as some others are reporting, it's not even that low of a framerate, it's just slowing the actual game speed down so much that my tears are flying through the air like 50% as fast as they should be.

What happens if this is unsubscribed or disabled? What data *will* we lose?

For some reason while I use this, it causes flies and spiders to lag the game horribly. DUnno why, it just does.

Just wanted to report a console error that always pops up with this mod: it says "ERR: ...fterbirth+ Mods/modcompatibilityhack_1438478410/main.lua:49: bad argument #2 to 'addCallbackOld' (number expected, got nil)".
