Description
Designed by Gordon Murray, the Brabham BT44 was the successor to the BT42. It was first raced in 1974. It's clean aerodynamics coupled with the Ford DFV and Hewland gearbox made it an instant succes on the track. The BT44B was an upgrade to this car, and ran in both 1975 and 1976 with a variety of drivers. To many this car was seen as the precursor to ground effects aerodynamics, featuring with elements like side skirts.

@P.Loatman Because despite rF2 calling itself the most realistic car simulation, it has no real clutch system yet. You can drive any manual car without clutch, and without consequences.

Why does this not require the clutch to change gears? It makes downshifting feel really weird since it'll engage the gear before I've even blipped the throttle and while I'm standing on the clutch.

Most only like the modern F1 cars that drive themselves sadly.

I would like to search the dedicated servers if there is one that hosts this 2 old F1 cars but i cant. I like both of them!

Agreed, very good work here. Enjoyable to drive, tough to master!
