This guide is a guide to all of Ravenfield's gamemodes, does conquest count as a game mode? Hmm..

In this guide we have the following: (Not in order)

Point Match - Updated 30rd of April, 2021
Battle - Updated 2nd of August, 2020.
Spec Ops - Updated 6th of August, 2020
Haunted - N/A
Skirmish - Updated 2nd of August, 2020.
Domination - Created 29th of May, 2021.

Point Match and Haunted are still pretty much the same since both had launched, but I still updated Point Match because, why not.
Point Match
Point Match was the first game mode introduced to Ravenfield, and is quite simple how it works.
Each flag your team or the enemy team has, will add a 1x multiplier (image below yes)
If you're asking what's the multiplier for well, each time an ally or enemy dies, depending on how many flags the enemy has, it'll count towards the opposite team, even if you press the respawn button on the weapons menu, it'll still count.
Ex: The enemy has 3 flags which means their multiplier is 3x, so if you "accidentaly" kill someone from your team, the enemy will gain 3 points.

In here you can see that I pressed the "Respawn" button on the weapons menu while the enemy team had a single flag, so they got a single point.

Okay okay, but how do I win you ask. Simple, you need to have XXXX more points than the enemy, "but those are letters not numbers!" yes, because depending on which lenght you chose, the more points you will need. Image below as always. At the beggining of every Point Match, the game will display how many points you need to win.
Ammount of points needed in a "Epic!" match

Ammount of points needed in a "Short" match.

There is another way to win aswell, a bit harder but still exists. The other way to win is to simply capture all of the enemy's flags and you will win instantly.
Battle
Battle is a simple game mode where each team has 3 battalions from, 100,200,300 or 400 soldiers each depending in which lenght you chose, as you can see below.

Flags do have a difference, if you have more flags than your enemy, your enemy will start to slowly lose soldiers, if your enemy has no flag, he will lose his soldier quickly.
The bar at the top will show you all you need, as you can see below when you have more flags a ">" will appear meaning the enemy will slowly start losing soldiers.

This does not only work for the enemy but works for you too, so plan well commander.

The game ends when one of the two teams loses all their soldiers.

Domination
Domination (as the name suggests) is focused on dominating flags, but, to win you must capture certain flags the game will display:
The flags you must capture will be shown in the map, this process is random and I don't know if it has a flag priority or not.

The flags you have to capture are also shown at the top of your screen and there's even some small arrows around it showing the direction the flag is, it also shows if one of the flags is being captured as it will begin flashing.
As you could see above aswell, before it truly begins there is a little timer and after it hits 0 the team with more flags will begin to fill up the bar, but the team that has less flags will also start filling the bar as seen below:

But when both the teams fill up the bar to the middle, the team with most points will start to take the enemy team bar:

When one team completes the bar, the enemy will lose a "battalion" ( which is represented by the 3 soldiers at the beggining of the game), and so the game will choose another 3 random flags, and after the timer hits 0 the bar starts filling up again.

Well this concludes Domination, yes I completly forgot about this mode woopsie doopsie.
Spec Ops
Oh boy here we go.
Spec Ops or Special Operations consists in, well a special operation in which you must complete it carefuly, you can either go stealth completing the objectives silently or just blow everything up.

Spec Ops is the first game mode to use a dialog system, if you play as Eagles, the Advisor will command TALON, if you play as Ravens, the ??? will command RAVEN. I would also like to mention that TALON has a unique skin if you're not using any custom skins, RAVEN does not have a unique skin (lol losers). Below you can see the Dialog System and TALON's skin.

Now to the objectives!

Your objectives are different every mission, the game lenght changes the ammount of objectives you have. The objectives you can encounter for now are: Eliminate Comm. Officer, Destroy [VEHICLE], Clear [FLAG] and Destroy ammo boxes. You can see your objectives by pressing TAB, and if you're using the map, it'll show you which flags in specific the objectives are located on, image below.

You are defeated when TALON-1/RAVEN-1 ( Y o u ) die, but a different dialog will happen if the entire Spec Ops team dies, not gonna spoil it for ya. It's also important to remember that Helicopters, Tanks, APCs, Planes and the Attack boat won't spawn for the player to use, they will only spawn if they are part of a objective, but even then, you cannot enter them.
Haunted
the goal is to complete the 7 hordes of skeletons, which gets harder for each horde (as the number of skeletons you have to kill increases). And for you to win, well, you have to complete the 7 hordes. And you're bound to stay within that energy ball down here (only during the hordes that you have to stay in because you get wasted life if you stay out).
Skirmish
Skirmish is a gamemode where there are limited respawns but not like in the Battle game mode, in here you only respawn when reinforcements arrive.
The game will announce when an reinforcement is arrives, as you can see below.

Reinforcemets arrive as paratroopers that are dropped from a plane, but before the reinforcements start to rain down the plane will launch a smoke screen so the paratroopers can land more safely. You can see the plane below:

If you die in battle but reinforcements haven't arrived so you can respawn, instead you will take control of another soldier in the battlefield, and the way you take control of the soldier, some would say.. similar to GTA V, where the camera is in the sky and starts to go down into the character. I m a g e :

The game ends when one of the two teams loses all their reinforcements and soldiers.
The End
That's it, yep, those were all the game modes. I could probably fit conquest in here, but I'm too lazy to do that now and I'd rather wait for it to receive more updates yeah.

I hope this guide helped you :)

Farewell commander.

This is super helpful, one of my few complaints with this game is how little it explains

I really hope there is a version of Battle without soldier bleed :( It makes the game less fun and it makes it harder to keep count of casualities

I'm not new to this game but, it did tell me a lot. Like, point match. I thought it was just saying how many flags you had, not multiplier. I didn't even know deaths counted in the game.
Thanks!
