3.55 and 3.70 Differential for 18-speed

Description
This mod adds 3.55 and 3.70 differential ratios for the 18-speed Eaton-Fuller Ultrashift transmission used in all of the default SCS trucks.

Using the 3.25 (stock SCS 18 speed) differential in gear 18:
  • @ 55mph, engine speed is around 1100RPM
  • @ 65mph, engine speed is around 1300RPM

Using the 3.55 differential in gear 18:
  • @ 55mph, engine speed is around 1200RPM
  • @ 65mph, engine speed is around 1400RPM

Using the 3.70 differential in gear 18:
  • @ 55mph, engine speed is around 1250RPM
  • @ 65mph, engine speed is around 1500RPM

These higher ratio differentials allow more acceleration from a stop as well as traversing hills especially with a lower powered truck. If you're into hauling heavy loads or just want to get going quicker, I recommend the 3.70 option. You might notice a decrease in fuel economy as a result of the engine being at a higher RPM while cruising.

Zach-- those old mack motors were designed to run in the range of 1900-2100 rpms.....my dad drove one of those Macks...he got it to 80mph on level ground , fully loaded...of course that truck only got 3mpg's on a good day

Good mod! However, can you do a transmission for the Mack R Series that was just released by Harven? Would love to see an 18 speed for it or a 13 speed with a differental that doesnt top out at 55. Would really appreciate it!

Excellent mod. A little more realism for us using wheel/pedal/shifter/shifter knob combos. No more constant motor killing on hill starts...
