By m1zu
This guide is a (Google) translation of the Japanese guide of the same name.

Note: I do not know the official English name of photoshop tools / functions

English is not my language

how to
First, render the poster by turning off(0) the bloom effect in SFM.
Then open the poster rendered in Photoshop.

Then, next copy the layer of the poster, select "image" → "color correction" → "level correction" on the copy layer,

select "OK" with settings like the image below. (Please try variously)

Next, set the drawing mode to "screen" in copy layer.

After that, it is done by applying a blur suitable for the poster by "filter" → "blurring" → "blurring (Gauss)" and finishing.
In this image, I blurred as much as 50 pixels. However, if it is a poster during the daytime, about 1/10 is enough.

Let's compare them.

Right: before application

There's a bloom effect on the camera itself but it doesn't work right nor render properly half the time, which is why these guides exist.

superb! Thank you kindly. To save time, I'd recommend just making use of the hotkeys (CTRL+L) for level adjustment
