How to Make CS:GO Bots Harder and More Fun (Outdated)

In this guide i'll be talking about how to make bots even harder and much more fun. There will be a couple of files that need to be edited, so be sure to backup the files. Alright enough of the jibber jabber lets go.

Introduction

As you know bots in csgo are well known to be VERY VERY bad. I have been looking all over the internet on how to make csgo bots harder and fun. But no luck. So I'm here to solve all your problems. You can use these bots for practice since i also get wrecked by them quite alot of times, either oddshots or just plain crazy reaction.

Though their aim and reaction speed will be faster, bots are still bots. They will do things that bots will normally do, like camping in a really odd spot or just rushing for no reason.

Here are a couple games i played against bots.

Making the Bots Harder

Firstly, we have to edit some files in the CS:GO folder (don't worry this won't cause a VAC ban or anything. You also don't need to revert it everytime you go into a competitive match.) go to your CS:GO folder, then find the csgo folder. (\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo)
Inside the folder, you want to find a file named botprofile.db/botprofile.
We're gonna edit some lines inside the file. Open the file using Notepad or Notepad++, whichever you prefer. You want to delete everything inside of the file. EVERYTHING. Go to this link and copy everything into the empty botprofile.db (https://pastebin.com/PMxnwjvK). There should be some explanations for the commands inside of the file, so you can understand much more about the botprofile.db file. I'm not going to go into detail to keep this guide short and easy.

Secondly, we're going to go scroll up and now find a folder named cfg. Now we want to create a new file. Right click in an empty space, then click on New, and now you want to click Text Document.

Once inside the New Text Document you want to copy everything from this link into the file. (https://pastebin.com/K0sEjywv)

It should look like this.

Now you want to save-as, input the file name + .cfg then click save (Make sure to save it without the brackets ex: bot.cfg). Here is an image to make it clearer.

Click save and you should have a .cfg file. Be sure to remember the name of the file since we are going to put it in the console in-game.
Now everything is set, we can move on into the game.

In-game

Now everything is set, you can go ahead and play. But first, let me tell you how to get these bots to be crazy good using some console commands.

Step-1
Offline with Bots

Step-2
Use Casual Mode, because we want to make it as hard as possible. You will see the reason why later.

Step-3
Pick a map, then choose the hardest difficulty, Expert.

Step-4
Open up your console then do as shown.
Hit enter then it will load all the settings. It will look like this when it loads.


Congratulations, you have succesfully made the bots harder and more fun. :D
I'll give you some extra commands to play around with to make it much more crazy.

mp_defuser_allocation 1 // This will randomly give a CT player a defuse kit, very useful when playing competitive against bots, since they don't buy defuse kits. Only 2 random players/bots will be given the defuse kit.

Since we chose the casual mode, there are no restrictions to how many bots there can be in a server. So do bot_add_ct / bot_add_t to add bots to their respective teams. If you want to make it harder do 10 vs 5 or more.

After doing the exec command you want to restart the game by doing mp_restartgame 1.

ok its happened now. i changed the name of the file to harderbots.cfg

then it haopened. in u r description pls change the file name to + .cfg
also pls reply if i need to do this everytime i start a game
