Drop Rate of Sunlight Medals

This guide goes over the drop rate of sunlight medals and where to farm in offline farming mode.

General Information and Item Discovery

Sunlight Medals are a part of the Warriors of Sunlight covenant. These can be farmed at the Lothric Castle bonfire by killing the one Lothric Knight past the area where you go through the three knights up the stairs (not talking about the dancer bonfire).

10 =Sacred Oath (Miracle) and 30 = Great Lightning Spear (Miracle)

The item discovery was 360 and the items I had to boost my item discovery are as follows:

Crystal Sage Rapier (+50)
Covetous Gold Serpent Ring +2 (+100)
Symbol of Avarice (+100)
My base stat of luck was 10!
Game default of 100
Totaling to 360 Item Discovery:

Statistics

I did my own experiment/farming and these are my results:

Kill count: 226 Lothric Knights
Time: 1 hour
Medals: 17 Sunlight Medals
Average drop rate: 12 to 13 Lothric Knights or 7.5% drop rate per Knight.

Got Drops on the following Knights:

The rng is weird i got 7 medals in 20min, after that i got none for 2h.

@Necrophite78 just an option if you don't have online options, but yes it is very easy compared to the others.

But isn't this like, the easiest covenant to rank up?
The vertebra chackles and proof of concords are a real pain.

-UoG-Leroy.exe. I am glad to hear! Sunlight medals are easy with a friend, however for us solo players it can be a little rough.

@author Ok, I think it might have a level requirement afterall. After hitting about lvl 70s, they drop quiet often now. In about an hour, it was roughly 15~20 medal. My gear didn't change, but only the level did.

Markinvan. I'm not sure why they aren't dropping then. I'm assuming you have a decent item discovery. It may be a game glitch or error if they aren't coming up.
