Everyone knows City 17 from Half Life 2. These brothers also tried to adapt it to Left 4 Dead 2.
The iconic places in Half Life 2 are not included in the map and we visit another part of the city. City 17 is there only in terms of theme and visuals. It would be laziness to build directly on the maps of Half Life 2 anyway, and the producer wanted to make the unknown parts of City 17 from scratch. There are alternative (fake) paths in the map that are not available in the original game and it makes the level non-linear, but it is a fact that it is annoying. The map, which starts in the sewers, ends at the train station, but the section design of the train station fails. The other sections are the sections we are familiar with from Half Life 2.
This episode, which will not upset Half Life 2 lovers and will meet their expectations to some extent, unfortunately cannot go beyond an ordinary Left 4 Dead map.
