DON"T PLAY THIS MAP!

I made a MUCH BETTER remake of it that can be found HERE. This item only exists as an interesting contrast to the remake.

Difficulty - 6/10

For experienced players only. No ninja moves, no glitches, no cube tossing. There is an easy way to do every part of the puzzle. Due to the freedom of the puzzle there are also harder ways to do several parts. If the way you're trying is hard to execute, there's an easier way. Reportal is a glitch and is not part of the intended solution, just don't. Passing through a portal that has the light bridge covering it and consequently passing through the light bridge is also a glitch and is not part of the intended solution. The piston platform under the red dropper descends whenever the light bridge is covering it in order to prevent the abuse of that glitch. Gel bomb nudging by the player or cubes has been turned off - they will pop.

The angled alcoves in the main room can be used to get a better portal angle on far floor portal surfaces. The red fields are gel fizzlers. Spreading extra conversion gel onto surfaces can make them accept portals more easily.

Trap yourself (not really) to receive your (optional) beloved companion cube.

Occasionally and randomly I have had a gel bomb pop when it really shouldn't. Plan accordingly. F6/F7 or permanent saves can be helpful. If it happens frequently then restarting Portal 2 can sometimes fix it. I used the large faithplate in the main puzzle to virtually eliminate that issue.
