WindowCaster Engine

Description
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzWINSY-5kk

Version 0.25-PRE-2.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This release comes with no actual game data and will not run without a copy of the floppy disk 1.12F version of Shadowcaster. By default, the game checks for this data at %appdata%/WindowCaster.

WindowCaster is the first Windows-native source port of Shadowcaster, a game developed by Raven Software in 1993. The intent is to provide a framework that is compatible with the original game, but also includes external modding features and the capability to be extended and used for entirely new games.

The source project has already been available on Doomworld for some time now, so I supposed it would be a good idea to also release this on the Workshop. I will continue to update this engine as I work on it.

You can find more information in the Doomworld thread, here: https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/99215-windowcaster-the-shadowcaster-source-port

Current features:

+ All Shadowcaster levels are viewable and are loaded directly from the original game data (SHADOW.LIB).
+ All Shadowcaster textures are loaded directly from the original game data (RAVDATA.DAT).
+ External mods can be loaded using pk3 files, similar to ZDoom/GZDoom - including custom textures, custom music, and more to come.
+ Hardware D3D renderer (using the standard GM functions).
+ Modern control scheme including mouselook.

I'm working on majorly refactoring lots of things in this project. Getting there, but it's slow work.
