The Luger pistol was used throughout both World Wars by the German forces and are prized collector's items today.

Colt M1911 / Colt M1911A1

The famous colt pistol, designed by John Moses Browning as part of a contest to replace the old revolvers in service by the US Army with a self-loading handgun capable of firing .45 caliber rounds. It's extremely solid and reliable design, a stable of Browning, allowed the M1911 to win the context and go on to be the standard handgun of the US army for over 60 years. It served as the basis of hundreds of handguns worldwide, and even today finds widespread use.

The final version of the Nambu pistol, designed by General Kijiro Nambu and inspired by the german Mauser C96 and Luger P08 pistols. It was the service pistol of all Imperial Japanese Armed Forces, complemented late in World War 2 by the markedly inferior but cheaper Type 94 pistol. Despite solid design, the weapon suffered from an underpowered cartridge compared to handguns of the time. After World War 2, it served as the design basis of the Ruger Mark 2, and the entire Ruger company.

The M714 guns were M712's that had their fire selector and full-auto capability removed so they could be sold in the US. Actual C96's don't have detachable mags, those were only introduced with the M712.

Not really, the Han Solo blaster was based off a Mauser C96, the pistol in this pack is a federal ordnance M714.

Fun fact: Han Solo’s DL-44 blaster is a modified version of one of these pistols. You can figure out which one it is.
