Way of White

Members of the Way of White are the followers of Great Lord Gwyn, and seek to kindle bonfires in order to sustain the power of the gods.

Joining

Speak with Petrus of Thorolund at Firelink Shrine or to Reah of Thorolund at the Undead Parish, after rescuing her from Tomb of Giants, to join this covenant.

Note

Members of the Way of White are matched up each other much more easily. Also some players report that joining this covenant may help reduce the amount of invaders invading into your game. Knight and Cleric classes start the game as members of the Way of White covenant. Pretty much useless covenant.

Princess Guard

The guardians of Gwynevere, Princess of Sunlight.
They have received blessings from the princess herself, it's based around healing miracles and is especially useful for co-op players.

Joining

After defeating Ornstein and Smough in Anor Londo, proceed up the lift and into the Royal Bedchamber. Speak with Gwynevere to enter this covenant.

Note

Player gets Ring of the Sun Princess and ability to use the healing miracles Soothing Sunlight and Bountiful Sunlight. Both miracles are the only miracles that allow the caster to heal friendly players in co-op.

Warrior of Sunlight

The Warriors of Sunlight are the followers of the firstborn of the Great Lord Gwyn. They harness the power of sunlight, manifested as lightning powers.

Joining

1. You must meet the Faith Requirement: the base requirement is 25, and it's decreased by 5 for each boss you helped to kill as a white phantom.
2. Find the Broken Altar to the right of the bonfire under The Hellkite Wyvern of the Undead Parish.
3. Pray to the altar.

Note

Players will appear as a Golden Phantom when summoned from a White Sign Soapstone.

Chaos Servant

This is covenant of Quelaag's Sister, who was made Firekeeper to keep her alive and the Chaos Servants help their Lady by feeding her humanity.
Joining this covenant gives access to strong Pyromancies.

Joining

1. Reach Quelaag's Domain and locate the White Spider, who is behind a false wall below the lever to activate the underground bell.
2. Talk to her and select Enter Covenant .

Note

If speak to Eingyi while you have an egg on your head, he will allow you to purchase the Poison Mist and Toxic Mist spells.

Forest Hunter

Covenant led by Alvina, protect the grave of Sir Artorias and the surrounding forest graves. They do it by invading the intruder's own world and hunting them down.

Joining

Reach Alvina at the Darkroot Garden, who stands just before the bridge linking to the ruined structure.

Note

Each successful invasion gives a small amount of souls based on the Soul Level of the defeated player and a random item.

Path of the Dragon

Covenant of the ancient dragons.
They seek Dragon Scales and present them to the descendant of the Everlasting Dragons for the purpose of transforming into an ancient dragon.

Joining

1. From the swamp bonfire, head left towards the large tree, then up one of its roots. Hit an Illusory Wall. Hit one more wall behind the chest.
2. You are now at The Great Hollow. Go down.
3. Find and pray to the Everlasting Dragon in Lace location.

Note

Using the Dragon Head Stone or Dragon Torso Stone provides a permanent change that cannot be reversed until death.

Gravelord Servant

Covenant of Gravelord Nito, the First of the Dead. They serve their master by spreading disaster to their neighboring worlds through the use of Eyes of Death.

Joining

You can only join and level up this covenant before defeating Gravelord Nito.
1. The trigger for unlocking the Gravelord Servant covenant is in the crypt where you find the Titanite Demon in the Catacombs.
2. In the tunnel it occupies, one coffin sticks further out than the rest, and is unoccupied.
3. Lay in coffin.
4. Wait for approximately 30 second.

Note

You need a Eye of Death in your inventory to trigger coffin.

Darkwraith

Darkwraiths harness the power of the Dark Soul found in each human. They continue the plan of the Furtive Pygmy and they are led by Darkstalker Kaathe.

Joining

1. Kill Great Grey Wolf Sif and receive his ring, Covenant of Artorias.
2. Do not speak to Frampt after obtaining the Lordvessel or you may kill Ingward to receive the key.
3. Kill Four Kings.

Note

Cracked Red Eye Orb can be bought for 3.000 souls from Kaathe.

Blade of the Dark Moon

This is covenant that serves Dark Sun Gwyndolin, the last remaining deity in Anor Londo.
By joining this Covenant, you agree to serve as a dispenser of justice, punishing to those who break the rules or earn sins.

Joining

1. You must have the Darkmoon Seance Ring(found in the Catacombs).
2. Go to the elevator in the middle of Anor Londo. Move the lever all the way down and go down the stairs to reach the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire.
3. Equip the Darkmoon Seance Ring near statue.
4. Join the covenant.

Note

1. Do not enter the fog gates or this will trigger boss fight and you'll will be evicted from the covenant.
2. Only covenant members can use Darkmoon Blade Miracle.
