No Health Regen - Done Right

Description
This mod creates more of a challenge by removing the automatic health regen. Unlike other mods and the use of console commands, it does so in a way that preserves the effects of health regen potions and foods, regen armor enchantments, and the lady stone, and does so in a minimally invasive and highly compatible fashion. Now all of that food lying around should become more valuable, and juggling healing spells during combat becomes more important. This mod also fixes some health regen related bugs involving stews, vampires, and various quest rewards..

Make sure to save your game after installing the mod for the first time, and place in the bottom of your load order to guarantee it's effects.

Aug. 8th 2012 - Now works for vampires as intended.

April 8th, 2014 - Now works for new games and existing characters.

See my other mod "Tired and Injured" if you'd like to use a more comprehensive survival mod.

I'm still healing even after starting a new game? it's in the bottom of the load order and I just cannot ever get these no health regen mods to ever work. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!!!! This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. IMO this Mod is essential.

could you kick up the difficulty even more by adding a blood loss mechanic so that you also lose health over time unless you heal?

Can you make it so that there's an option where followers don't regen?

Finally!!! I tried this to do myself and could't get it done. Now, after a very long time of searching, I found your mod and can start playing skyrim.
Big thanks and good work.

@Xerxes: Tested, it works fine. I've also made a few improvements.

@Xerxes: By it's nature, It should, but I haven't had a chance to test it as extensively as I did for the base game (been too busy with school, work, etc.). Once I get some free time this summer I'm planning on getting back into modding, so if you use it and find a problem in the mean time, please, by all means let me know.
