Description
This mod is for all players who like to not only build impressive city walls and formidable castles, but who also like to see them put to use.

FEATURES

- Villagers can walk on walls and up towers (mod option "Accessable walls")

- New buildings

- Combat system, raider AI, and animal attacks

- Manned Towers and new usable arrows resource (mod option "Manned towers")

- Gates can be closed (mod option "Gates can close" - if activated, the mod "Close the gates" should be deactivated)

- Adjusted footprints of towers, walls, gates and castle buildings for seamless wall compounds

- Free rotation and placement of wooden palisade fences (mod option "Rotate Palisades")


- COMBAT SYSTEM - mod option "Dangerous LiF")
* fights with animations and sounds
* Humans and animals have health points
* Raiders and most animals can not be killed with one single blow or arrow. Better tools improve the hit chance and damage.
* Attacked targets will fight back and can injure or kill the attacker. Better clothing reduced damage taken.
* Injured citizens need to heal up in a hospital or at home before they can hunt again.


- SMART RAIDERS - Experimental mod option - Inactive by default, can be activated in an existing savegame. Do not deactivate it while you have raiders on the island.
* Raider boats remain on the island until raiders leave in it or it is destroyed.
* Raiders steal valuables and focus on this goal. Burning buildings is not their main objective, but they can still do it.
* Raiders will break down gates and drawnbridges that are in their way. A damaged gate cannot close.
* Raiders retaliate when attacked.
* Riaders attack and try to kill hunters, and try to disable towers that may attack them.


- More aggressive wild animal behaviour - mod option "Aggressive animals"
* Wild animals raid houses and storage for food, uproot field plants and even nibble on your saplings
* Children that wander in the forest alone are in danger of predator attacks
PLEASE NOTE: Problems have been known to occur with this module in some games. Unfortunatly I am unable to fix that due to the cause being unknown. If you experience any crahes with this mod on, please deactivate the mod option "Aggressive animals".


NEW BUILDINGS

- New buidling to serve a staircase: the watchhouse. It is built between wall pieces. Can be manned. The guards will patrol and watch out for bandits.
- Special towers for straight wall parts as well as wall corners allow for villagers to walk the whole city wall. The accessable sides of all towers are marked by doors/ladders.
- Drawbridges for stone walls (mod option "Drawbridge")
- Wooden palisade fort to provide access to research in the early game (mod option "Wooden fort")
- Wooden watchtower to provide protection from wild animalsin the early game (mod option "Watchtower")
- Alarm bell to gather your hunters


NEW RESOURCE: Arrows

- with mod option "Manned towers"
- Arrows are produced at the carpenter's workshop or at the "Crafting table" or "Longhouse" work hall (mod buildings).
- Towers will be manned by hunters who stock their tower with arrows and use them up to shoot at enemies.


Compatibility:
- COMPATBLE with "Dangerous Animals" mod by jimm0thy. "Dangerous Animals" needs to be below this mod in the modifications list.
With mod option "Agressive animals", the effects of the "Dangerous Animals" mod are greatly reduced.
- COMPATBLE with "Productive Teens" mod by Neophir. If "Productive Teens" mod option "Hunting priority" should be disabled to prevent teenagers from attacking raiders, because if injured, they cannot heal.

A large number of players do not see this; check other MODs you are using that is load intensive.

Thats not it. The Game is poorly optimised anyway, but the stuttering begins only with a Raider attack. Its propably script related. I just wonder if that is a Bug with the Game or caused by some options from this Mod.

Try turning off your Games Video Sink and use just your Graphic Cards Setting. Also tweak your Graphics in the Cards App.

This should should help you maintain the optimum 60 FPS for a smooth game ;)

hello thanks c; I discovered it within minutes of writing this post :D I just had to deactivate the dangerous animals mod option,

can you try to play your save without this mod enabled ?
game by itself has many reasons to crash. its best to be sure its the mod causing the problem :)
