Crystal Slimes

The crystal slime is next up on the chopping block on my list to teach all of you guys more about the slimes of slime rancher.

Crystal Slime Basics

The crystal slime is one of the hardest slimes to find in the entire game due to them only spawning one a small and out of the way cave in the indigo quarry.

The crystal slime can only be found in an area called the "Cinder Grove".


And an island called the "Ash Isle". You can only go to the ash isla by poping one of the rock slime gordos in the indigo quarry.


There is only one crystal slime gordo in the entire game and it is found at the top of the ash isle island we just talked about.


The crystal slimes favourite toy is the Crystal Ball

Crystal Slime Homeland

The crystal slime is, as I said before, a very hard slime to find as it can only be found in the indigo quarrys hidden areas:

- Cinder Grove (Indigo Quarry)
- Ash Isle (Indigo quarry)

These two areas are very out of the way wich is what makes them so rare.

Crystal Slime Diet

The crystal slimes are a very hard slime to find but a very easy slime to feed as they only eat veggies.
The crystal slimes favourite food is the Odd Onion

Odd onions are a quite hard to find since they only spawn in the indigo quarry and do so very rarely.

It's probably best to largo them for a max plort output because of how Odd Onions grow. Their plorts seem to have higher sell prices early-game which could make them a priority. You also should only have a maximum of 4 (3 if largo'd) if you like to handle your slimes yourself or don't have the plort collector and feeder (and drone). Water DOES get rid of the crystals, but they still can make em pretty fast. It's also probably best you DON'T turn them into a GD slime largo, unless you like danger.

By the way, attempting to start an Odd Onion garden is different than the other plants, as the garden will grow mainly carrots, and then about 7 onions per harvest.
