Realism Mod Series - Food Improved

Description
This mod is part of a large project I am in the middle of working on. I thought people might enjoy this portion of it so I thought I would break it out on its own and release. This portion makes all food improve Stamina, not Health ( not always anyway ). Also made alot of food give a restore stamina duration effect as it seemed more realistic to me when you eat a good meal that your energy is higher over a period of time, not just for a small burst. Anyway. Enjoy!

For more information here is what to expect from future releases of this mod series.

Phase 1 is nearing completion, here is what is happening.

I took a long look at the game, especially the early experience and wanted to change it up a bit. Basically what I did was completely overhaul the Bandit's of Skyrim. They play such a large part in your experiences early on, I wanted to give them a big overhaul. They will now be known as Fugitives. They are all known criminals that have murdered and god knows what else while taking over nearly every Fort and cave of Skyrim. They are wanted criminals by the Jarl's of Skyrim and this will reflect that more.

Overhauling the loot tables of Skyrim to make it far more random and at many times, more personal. For example you will find more books on the women of Skyrim ( come on, don't lie ladies ) and you will almost always find that nice bottle of Mead on the bodies of slain Nords.

It was my main goal with this entire series just to make the overall flow of Skyrim to be far more entertaining. The world is a very random place. You never know where people have come from or what they have been doing. These mods will begin to reflect that in the world. Especially human opponents. They will have far more interesting loot potential. That bandit soldier up on the bridge may have had a family heirloom which turns out to be an enchanted dagger. You just never know.

Many more updates to come on this series. I hope some people out there enjoy it and hope this little taste here is enough to get atleast a few people interested in what is to come in the future. I will probably have Phase 1 - Fugitive's Fallout ( name still in the works! lol ) ready by mid week or perhaps soon. Currently testing with a quick runthrough with a new lv. 1 character to see what the changes have done to the overall flow.

So, without further ado, a quick list.

1.) Realism series will begin making Skyrim much more dynamic and difficult. I wanted each battle to be something that you had to pay close attention to. Your not the only one who can smith Dwarven armor or enchanted weapons in Skyrim. Or go to a local smith and buy from.

2.) Loot is being completely overhauled. More randomness, more excitement when you peek into someones satchel, etc.

3.) Animals will be more dynamic and varied. I will likely overhaul the wilderness to make it feel more like a WILDerness. You just seem to run around too long for nothing in Skyrim. Thats not a wilderness to me.

4.) Enemies are not stupid. They know when they are hurt. That is all.

5.) I hear ghosts of the past are haunting the forests and mountains of Skyrim. Travelling at night may get much more interesting!

6.) Mages have healing spells don't they?

Anyway, have fun! Subscribe if you like, call me a fool if you like. Like I said, life is all random, you just never know.

I've been earching for hours (and Steam Workshop is a PAIN to search in) for good food mods, things with more variety and more realistic effects. For that reason I am putting this in my favorites list, until I'm sure there isn't something else than suits me more and doesn't conflict. Great idea though and I love the fact that you've gone for something useful and more immersive.

please no spiders! i just got a mod to replace them and i don't want them added back in with a fun mod that keep me from starting the game. anything but spiders for the wilderness. maybe more realistic animals. no giant spiders. boars, mountain lions, and other dangerous animals but NO SPIDERS!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!! this will also get more downloads since arachniphobic won't have reason to stay away. please please please.

A mod I would love to see is that you can pay smiths to improve your armor/weapons. Pay extra for enchanted ones.

I hate to waste my leveling on smithing because I want my gear to reach its full potential.

Yeah I plan on parting out most of the releases into seperate files. There will be so many changes it may conflict with alot of the available mods if I kept it all as one large file. I will likely release the entire mod as a single file when it is done, but for now will put out just the food mod and later the Bandit mod. I will be overhauling nearly all the enemies of the game eventually, but at first I wanted to tackle the largest group of them which was the Bandits.

This mod looks great.I've downloaded, but it conflicts with an earlier food mod ("Food Effects.") I doubt it could be made compatible with that. Any chance you'll put the food improvement into a stand-alone? I'd like to keep "Food Effects" but would really love to download this as well, as what you're going for sounds just great! I'll watch this space.
