Patron of Sanguine Tank Build (OUTDATED)
By Weareallbeautiful94
My latest DK PvE tank/dps build named after sanguine for its complete lack of work. This build is designed to do okish damage for a mag DK tank while still remaining more then tanky enough for even veteran content when used right. At the same time this build is also meant to be completely hands free meaning 90% of your dps comes from automatic set proccs much like Sanguine were too busy enjoying the finer things in life and partying to worry about actually attacking enemies. NOT OPTIMAL BUT SURE IS INTERESTING ESPECIALLY IF SOLO PLAYER!

Build Summary

P.S KEEP IN MIND STATS ABOVE ARE DONE AT LOW CP WITH THE ONLY BUFF BEING MOLTEN ARMAMENTS AND THE SOUP BUFF.......IF YOU PUT ON VOLATILE ARMOR SKILL YOUR HEALTH REGEN AND RESISTANCES WOULD BE UP RESISTANCES WOULD BE NEAR 40K EVEN WHICH IS INSANE AND WHY I DONT USE IT MYSELF AND WITH GREEN DRAGON BLOOD YOUR REGEN WOULD ALL BE HIGHER AND WITH STRUCTURED ENTROPY YOUR HEALTH WOULD SHOOT UP TO 50K WHICH IS MORE THEN ENOUGH HEALTH FOR VET DUNGEONS AND WITH INNER LIGHT YOUR MAGICKA SHOOT SHOOT UP TO NEAR 20K AND SPELL CRIT CHANCE WAY UP AS WELL AND WITH UNDAUNTED PASSIVES HEALTH WOULD BE EVEN HIGHER

If you love tanking and always wanted to do OKish dps as well at least for a tank or just love a lazy solo build then this build is for you! also good for beginners as its easy to use and set pieces are fairly easy to get except velidreth which might give you a little trouble. Let it be known im not a hardcore META player i make builds I LIKE for things I LIKE doing which is why ease of use and overall balance is great to me and why i also dont recommend this build for anything above veteran dungeons as trials require a reforming of this.

Attributes: 40 health and 24 magicka

Race: Imperial or Nord or Argonian would work nicely i use nord myself

Class: Dragonknight (MagDK)

Mundus Stone: The Lord (health)

Armor Weight: 7 Heavy (you can do 6 heavy and 1 light if you want as well)

Food/Drink buff: Solitude Salmon Millet Soup

Pots: Tri-Pots

Armor Sets:

1. Thunderbugs Carapace Set (buffs your resistances and gives you a 50% chance each 3 seconds to do a free 5160 shock damage to every enemy around you this is the point of the build to have our set proccs do all the damage for us 90% of it at least which helps our sustain and the ease of our build leaving so much space on the bar for other things now that we dont have to worry about dps skills)

2. Storm Knights Plate Set (like thunderbug this set also boosts resistances but also boosts health and even though it does the same thing as thunderbug what makes its damage output better is it does this near 5k dmg to everyone around you every 2 seconds when procced it only has a 10% chance of proccing though but since it proccs on non physical damage only it ensures youll always have chance for free dps output especially when mobs use spells and physical attacks)

3. (MONSTER HELM) Velidreths Set OR Maw of Infernal (both of these monster helm sets give some of the highest damage in game for monster helms and its very easy to procc and often they activate. Velidreths alone shoots 3 balls that do 10k damage each and maw of infernal summons a fire breathing daedroth for 15 secs that absorbs damage for you and can even hold aggro sometimes and also does pretty impressive dps when set up right AoE dmg too at that)

WITH ALL 3 SETS PROCCING AT THE SAME TIME YOU CAN DO OVER 20K BURST DAMAGE FOR ABSOLUTELY FREE and they procc often so its not super super rare that that happens it just depends on who is attacking you place yourself right and your dps can take down mobs without you even having to try is it as good as even just a basic decent dps? no it isnt but is it god awful horrible?? HELL NO i can still kill bosses in many normal dungeons fairly quick when in right place again you have to make sure you leave archers and mages alive if possible when fighting a boss so you can have them procc your armor sets alot the more attacks the more proccs.

SKILLS:

1. pierce armor (this is the main taunt of eso so its a given for a tank but this morph is best for it also reduces spell resistance on enemies as well and more debuffs = more dps output by you and your team)

2. Green Dragon Blood (You can replace this with invigorating drain if you wish as invigorating drain i would argue for tanks is actually a better heal as it gives you double the overall heal and also stuns the enemy and gives you back ultimate plus is dirt cheap the problem is it requires vampirism which i dont like personally mostly for cosmetic reasons lol but game wise vampirism would help the build)

3. Igneous Shield (This is our only real shield other then bone shield which isnt any better really in my opinion it would be better if our health was super high but at 45-50k health theyre close to the same and igneous shield also shields your allies automatically and gives stam back and provides 25% healing done boost for 3 secs)

4. Inner Light (we dont need any damage skills and dont need any buffs really so might as well use the extra spaces for stat boosters like this which boosts mag pool and also boosts our spell crit % not to mention also adding to mages guild passives)

5. Structured Entropy (this is what alot of tanks use to add huge health boost this will be whats needed to benefit from mages guild passives more and to also most importantly bring our health up 8% to over 50k it also is a half-ass HoT and DOT and spell dmg buff so it isnt totally useless as a skill either

6. (ULTIMATE) Magma Armor (this ultimate is very very very useful it is a panic button that can save you anytime when facing hard hitting enemies allowing you to retreat some and shield up and regain your health back while also providing you and others in your group with huge shields not to mention it also lasts like 11 seconds with passives and does okish dps to all around it costs 200 ult as well so thanks to passive it basically refills your bars as well on use)

Enchants: armor = health / Jewellery = mag regen / weapons = hardening

Traits: armor = divines and reinforced and weapon = defensive

Champion Points: i dont care what anyone says i can prove to you that as far as the perks of cp system itself (not the stat boosts it gives for just putting a point in alone) once you get to cp160 it isnt helping you THAT much so just remember to think logically you need points in bastion and you need to boost mag and stam regen and boost healing

R SD if looking for something more optimal and more of a actual tank then try my Auriels shield build this current one here your talking about is actually a tank/dps hybrid which is never optimal

Hello RSD none of my tank builds require much blocking and when there is a need to block you can just power hit one power hit alone almost charges back your whole stamina bar with proper heavy armor Passives and the cp point passives this is not a trial tank as I made clear it won’t be most optimal but it can definitely handle some veteran dungeons at least the thing with magicka tanks with shielding is we need to block much less than typical stamina tanks which may not have shielding and instead rely on prioritizing blocking above all else

but why 0 stamina :steamfacepalm:
