Unlocking infinite Devil Trigger in all 3 games

A step-by-step guide on how to meet the conditions needed to unlock this useful secret in DMC1, 2 and 3 while detailing how the process varies from game to game.

Devil May Cry

First, beat the game on Normal difficulty to unlock Hard mode. Then, continue on and beat Hard mode to unlock Dante Must Die mode. Finally, beat DMD with either Dante or The Legendary Dark Knight to unlock the Super Dante costume which grants infinite Devil Trigger.

Devil May Cry 2

Now, there are no Super costumes in DMC2 per se but meeting certain conditions will grant you access to a secret code that esssentially does the same thing. To unlock the cheat itself, you'll have to have beaten either Dante or Lucia's Must Die difficulty mode. First, beat Normal mode with BOTH Dante and Lucia to unlock Hard mode. Beat Hard mode with both to unlock Must Die mode. Finally, beat Must Die difficulty with at least one of them to fulfill the gameplay requirements. Moreover, because the original cheat was PAL region exclusive, you'll have to change the collection language in the options menu to an European language if you haven't already, English won't do either!

With the game beaten and language changed, enter the mission select screen and highlight the mission you want or Bloody Palace then press and hold LT, RT, LB, RB and finally hit confirm.
You'll know if you've done it right if you start the mission with a full DT gauge.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

This game has two sets of Super costumes for Dante and Vergil.
The first set can be aquired in two ways:
either way, beat the game once on Normal difficulty to unlock Vergil, Hard mode and Bloody Palace.
From there on out you can either simply beat Bloody Palace with your character of choice to unlock their respective first Super costume right off the bat or continue on and beat Hard mode, which unlocks Very Hard mode and Dante Must Die mode. From there, beating Very Hard provides the second option for unlocking the first set of Super costumes mentioned above while beating Dante Must Die provides the only means of unlocking the second set.

I would just like to mention that I couldn't beat the first boss on normal in dmc 1 not because of skill issue but because of how tiresome it is to spam X or B for 15 mins plus on an x-box remote

@DarkSolaris Heaven or Hell is actually much easier than Must Die mode. Mostly because everything dies in one hit, Hell or Hell mode on the other hand is total bullshit.
