Update 29/03/2019: Added MP5K audio, updated UMP45 unsuppressed audio to reflect recent changes to the UMP in PUBG (used to be the UMP9...now it's the UMP45.)

Update 17/02/2019: Reduced the gain on the AK-74 so it's not so loud compared to the AKM.

Update 30/08/2018: I've reworked most of the sounds, they should sound better now. Noticed that the tail often got cut off, and some of them were using a completely different tail from what was actually heard in PUBG. Also replaced the AK-74 audio with the Beryl M762 audio.

Extracted audio from Playerunknown's BATTLEGROUNDS and put together with Audacity to get as close to PUBG as I could...man this was a pain in the butt to make, but here it is.

One reason for making this is because a few of the guns you get your hands on, end up getting you shot at within a few seconds of taking them from the airdrop...

Unfortunately I don't have a video preview as I don't have the tools to make one at the moment but mainly because I frankly just can't be stuffed making one. If someone wants to make one go right ahead.

Given that PUBG is still insanely popular and the devs are still adding things while fixing bugs, this mod will be updated as new weapons are introduced and as long as I can extract the audio.

SCAR-L replacer for the Mk18, although it uses custom anims and comes with an angled foregrip by default due to its animations, may kind of put you off if you're a quasi-purist like me. Here

M1897 replacer for the M590, although the IRL M1897 has a 5+1 magazine so technically none of the shotguns in the base game actually fit...but oh well

Hey can you make an individual sound mod for x weapon?

A few people have asked me this and frankly, I'm not too keen on maintaining 19 separate files, especially since I'm already lazy/unmotivated to begin with. I can safely say that I spend more time modding my games than actually playing them (thanks Fallout 3 and New Vegas :D) and I kinda want to change that lol.

If you've already downloaded the file, go to steamapps/workshop/content/222880/ and then look for the file ID, you can get this from the workshop item's URL - in this case it'd be 1372331756.

Copy the file to some other place if you want to unsubscribe as unsubscribing will remove the file. Open it up with GCFScape and you can then extract the files and remove any you don't want, then recompile it into a vpk using vpk.exe in steamapps/common/insurgency2/bin/. If you're not sure about this step there's quite a few guides floating around on how to make your own VPK mods.

If you want to use these sounds for your own mods go right ahead.
