“…My aunt’s trailer was the top unit in a “stack” twenty-two mobile homes high, making it a level or two taller than the majority of the stacks immediately surrounding it. The trailers at the bottom level rested on the ground, or in their original concrete foundations, but the units stacked above them were suspended on a reinforced modular scaffold, a haphazard metal latticework that had been constructed piecemeal over the years.

We lived in the Portland Avenue Stacks, a sprawling hive of discolored tin shoeboxes rusting on the shores of I-40, just west of Oklahoma City’s decaying skyscraper core. It was a collection of over five hundred individual stacks, all connected to each other by a dozen ancient construction cranes (used to do the actual stacking) were positioned around the stacks’ ever-expanding outer perimeter.

The top level or “roof” of the stacks was blanketed with a patchwork array of old solar panels that provided supplemental power to the units below. A bundle of hoses and corrugated tubing snaked up and down the side of each stack, supplying water to each trailer and carrying away sewage (luxuries not available in some of the other stacks scattered around the city). Very little sunlight made it to the bottom level (known as the “floor”). The dark, narrow strips of ground between the stacks were clogged with skeletons of abandoned cars and trucks, their gas tanks emptied, and their exit routes blocked off long ago…” – excerpt from Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One.

This Hotel is my representation of the Stacks form Ernest Clines Ready Player One also from the recent film directed by Stephen Spielberg. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did making it. The perks on each room are “Internet access" and “Arcade”. I thought that to be extremely fitting with the plot of the movie and the book. This hotel also features 71 hotel rooms which I also thought was pretty fitting considering the amount of people that were crammed in these trailers in the movie. This however was no easy feat. I had to do a few tricks to make it work so here are the setup instructions.

When placing the blueprint place it down so that the room blocks are just barely underground.

• In the game settings make sure to disable all terrain collision by checking each box
• It’ll also be easier to do the pathing if you check the “no clip” feature in the camera settings as well.
• Set your pathing to 1 unit length and 4m width (see photo) Check the "tunnelling" feature in the path settings.
• Start the pathing at the hotel foyer using the highest angle make two 1unit length stairs then two straight 1unit lengths on ground level then hit esc. Make sure the path doesn’t stick out the front of the trailer. (see photo for ref.)
• After that hook up your pathing through the doorway of the pink trailer and curve the pathing out the front and you are done.

I absolutely loved this movie and the book so I had to make something from it. I hope you all enjoy this half as much as I enjoyed making it. If you do like it please feel free to hit that rate button, favorite and leave a comment. I really enjoy hearing you guys’ feedback. Thanks!

@ Fricker. I did read that at your PATHING/SETUP INSTRUCTIONS but I have no clue where the entrance to the lobby/foyer is.

Banisha use the normal pathing.

Sorry but I can't figure out where I should start the pathing and wich one to use - cue or normal.
It's the first time I make use of a hotel and my choice was to pick yours ;)
Thanks in advance
