Mini Manic Miner Remix

Description
Back in 1983 the ZX Spectrum was the first computer (and Manic Miner was the first videogame) I ever played.

5 year old me couldn't believe you could control something that was on the TV. It totally blew my mind and was single handedly responsible for me getting into videogames.

Anyway - here's my little homage to Manic Miner. It's not identical of course, more of a respectful nod to the original game with some new bits mixed in :)

Anyway, hope you enjoy it - I may add to it when I get the chance. It's quite tough in places, but I have completed every level myself, so I know it's possible!

I agree, it's a challenge, especially when making a cohesive, continuous 'game'. So well done! Very fun.

What I did for my 'gameboy 3 level packs' were MEDIUM and HARD packs. 3 levels each pack, which play mostly identically, but for HARD I just added extra hazards. Exceptionally fast way to adjust for people's needs, doesnt break level design, and twice as many levels. Got the idea from Super Meat Boy - Light and Dark worlds (Easier and Harder).

Thanks! One of the hardest things is planning difficulty curve. I always end up making things too easy or too hard - getting a scalable middleground takes a bit of thinking! :)

Just completed this. Good difficulty ramp up. Last three levels were nice and challenging :steamhappy: Amazing work!
