Custom Dynamic Crosshairs - A Simple How-To Guide
Dewa tarafından
A simple guide on how to create your own "dynamic crosshair", works best for people using static crosshairs but also want it to be dynamic

Step 1 - What you need

you'll need a crosshair generator first to determine what the crosshairs will look like when you do this. personally i recommend using this:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=308490450

then you want to make sure that your computer / laptop has "show extensions" enabled, you can do so here:
windows 7 / 8 / 10[www.thewindowsclub.com]
Mac[support.apple.com]

and most importantly, make sure you have 3 crosshair scripts, each containing the ones you'll use, feel free to name then whatever, ie

Make sure their extension is .cfg, and not .txt. Otherwise it won't work and CS:GO won't detect it as an executable script

one those are done, make sure to store them in your cfg folder, usually located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
Step 2 - The "main" commands
To actually make this work, you need to put these commands into another .cfg file, personally i put them in my autoexec. Just a quick tip, once these commands have been run, you don't need to run them again, unless they get overriden or you reset your csgo to default

alias +ctrlduck "+duck; exec crosshair1" alias -ctrlduck "-duck; exec crosshair2" alias +altwalk "+speed; exec crosshair3" alias -altwalk "-speed; exec crosshair2" bind ctrl "+ctrlduck" bind shift "+altwalk"

alternatively, if you have a keybind for toggling crouch / duck, add this under the first part

alias toggleduck "toggle_duck; exec crosshair1; bind v untoggleduck" alias untoggleduck "toggle_duck; exec crosshair2; bind v toggleduck" bind v toggleduck
Step 3 - That's all!
yep, that's it

and yes, people's opinion to this may vary, including "why not just enable dynamic crosshair" and such

i've really wanted to do a guide about this for quite a while, but i never really got into making it

Credit to Crashz for his amazing maps that have proven to be really handy to use, have a link to his Workshop Page

Cheers, and happy fragging

also donate stuff to me plz i'm poor
