Fishing Record Boards

This is a guide to completing all the fishing record boards. I don't list all available fishing locations, just the ones I used to complete this challenge.

Introduction

To beat the record you need to catch at least one of each fish on all 3 boards (Located in Wolf's Den, Hope County Jail, and Fall's End). To catch the higher weight fish you will need the "Fisher King" perk in the survival tree and then select the correct fly for each fish type (Trout, Bass, Salmon, Sturgeon). The name of each fish type is in the name of the correct fly so it is easy to pick the right one (Example: Salmon Egg Fly for catching Salmon). You will also need to go to fishing locations labeled (Hard). I will show the ones I used below.

Henbane River

Henbane River's Board is located in the Hope County Jail



The left side of the board will be the same in each region and I will list those at the end of this guide. For now lets focus on the unique ones in each. Henbane River is Bass

Smallmouth Bass Located South East of Gethsemane Greenhouse



Largemouth Bass Located South of Nolan's Fly Shop



Rock Bass Located West of Jone's Residence

Holland Valley

Holland Valley Board is located in the Fall's End Bar



The unique fish for Holland Valley is the Sturgeon.

Pallid Sturgeon Located South of Lam of God Sacristy



Paddlefish Sturgeon Located South of Seed Ranch

Whitetail Mountain

The Whitetail Mountain Board is located in the Wolf's Den



The unique fish in Whitetail Mountain is Salmon

Chinook Salmon Located South East of Osprey Cabin



Kokanee Salmon Located North of Grand View Hotel



Arctic Grayling Salmon Located on the North side of Snowshoe Lake

Common Fish

These are the fish that can be found in any region and they occupy the left side of the regional boards.



The common fish are all types of Trout.

Bull Trout Located East of Aubrey's Diner



Golden Trout Located West of McCallough's Garage



Lake Trout Located North East of Linero Building Supply



Rainbow Trout Located East of Silver Lake Summer Camp

Thanks for the guide. My dumbass thought you had to catch one of each common fish in EVERY region so 12 in total ALONG with the region specific fish. Lmfao. Glad i didn't just waste time doing that.

Fish on the board in order. On the Left > Top to bottom > Bull Trout, Golden Trout, Lake Trout, and Rainbow Trout. On the Right in Helbane > Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass. On the Right in Whitetail Mountain > Chinook Salmon, Kokanee Salmon, Arctic Grayling Salmon. On the Right in Holland Valley > Pallid Sturgeon, Paddlefish Sturgeon. They are also listed in order in each zone.
