CSGO - Demo/.cfg - More convenient replay controls

This will tell you how to include a custom config file to enable more convenient replay control keys.

The Hotkeys

F5  - Open DemoUserInterface
      Remember: This will block a lot of controls, to close the demo user interface, you will have to click the [x] with your mouse, even [Esc] will not work.
F9  - Pause demo playback (toggle)


Playback Speeds
Note: Hold down button to play at that speed, release to return to normal speed.

F6  - x00.125
F7  - x00.250
F8  - x00.500

F10 - x03.000
F11 - x10.000
F12 - x50.000

Rewind Set Amount of Time
[-]   - Rewind the demo for 20 s (for a default competitive demo at 64 ticks/s)
[ =]  - Rewind the demo for 10 s (for a default competitive demo at 64 ticks/s)

Utilities
h   - Toggle HUD (when re-enabling hud, press [Esc] twice to get all HUD elements back)
j   - Show a box around the crosshairs to predict shots (you need to have "cl_crosshairstyle 2" or "[...]3" or "[...]5" enabled)
k   - Show X-Ray outlines

Creating the Config File

Download the config file:

Hint: Either copy the whole contents in a new text file and name it recording.cfg or press the [download] button on the site.

Create the folder "autoexec" in [...]\Steam\userdata\<UserID>\730\local\cfg\
Save the file as [...]\Steam\userdata\<UserID>\730\local\cfg\autoexec\recording.cfg

Enabling the Config File

Static (Always On)

Open your [...]\Steam\userdata\<UserID>\730\local\cfg\config.cfg
Add the following line:

exec autoexec/recording.cfg

Save the file
Restart CSGO

Enable Per Session

Open up the console
Enter "exec autoexec/recording.cfg"
Press [Enter]

Hint: Your default keybindings will be restored once you restart CSGO
