Max hit points per level

IMPORTANT INFO:
After the recent updates you can enable / disable max hitpoints per level in the game menu, so my tutorial is rather useless. Thanks to everyone for your support! Cheers!


Are you tired of continuous clicking because you did not get the maximum HP (Hit Points) while leveling up?

Here's a quick and super simple solution:

Go here:
<username>/My Documents/Neverwinter Nights
and open file "nwnplayer.ini" in notepad.
Find [Server Options] section (or press Ctrl+f and type "Max Hit Points".

Now change:

Max Hit Points=0

to

Max Hit Points=1

Save file (Ctrl+S) and ... that's it!
Now you can gain max health points per level!


IMPORTANT UPDATE !!!
After latest update you have to edit another file in the same folder.
Edit settings.tml file in any notepad, find [ruleset] part and change

always-roll-max-hitpoints-on-levelup = false

to

always-roll-max-hitpoints-on-levelup = true

Save the file.

Sorry but where is it in the Game menu? I cannot find it there (however I can find it in the .tml file)

Thanks, I downloaded the game on android and they don't have an option to give max HP that I have seen. The files on android can be found here. Android/data/com.beamdog.nwnandroid/files/user nwnplayer.ini

What if these files don't exist on your pc? So pissed off at this. I bought this enhanced version through gog because usually its an offline game. unfortunately its a stupid beamdog game and only online... anyone know a way to make max hp without the offline version? So pissed off at this

In previous D&D games (BG/IWD) this option was in settings, but you needed to reroll character stats for half an hour. In NWN you get max stat roll, but you are forced to reroll level up again and again
