Description
Mom's ban list lets you pick and choose which monsters you don't want in your game.

There are mods out there to remove this monster, remove that monster, remove portals, remove stoneys, remove hosts, etc, but why have several mods when one mod can do it all?

With mom's ban list you have a fully configurable and personalized list of monsters to despawn or replace.

The mod adds a ban list and a replace list to your game, any monsters in the room that are on the ban list will be grabbed by mom's hand and removed from the game, while any monsters that are on the replace list will be replaced with a set entity.

You can use the Mod Config Menu to update the lists and general settings, including whether to use the moms hand animation or just have the banned entities simply disappear.

The mod also uses console commands to let you update it, using the replace list gives you more versatility but it can take a bit of effort to find the secondary IDcodes so ban list tends to be easier to use.
(you can use https://moddingofisaac.com/docs/group__enums.html to help find ID codes, aka types, variants and subtypes, or you could use the examples I've posted below)

Enter "showenemyids" to see the ID codes of all the enemies in the room and "hideenemyids" to stop showing the ID codes.

Enter "addtobanlist IDCODE" to add a monster type to the ban list, or enter "addtoreplacelist IDCODE1>IDCODE2" to add a monster type to the replace list.
(where IDCODE1 is the monster to replace and IDCODE2 is the thing to replace them with)

You can use "showbanlist" to see the monster types currently on your ban list, or"showreplacelist" to see the monster types currently on your replace list .

You can use "removefrombanlist IDCODE" to remove a monster type from the ban list, or you can use "removefromreplacelist IDCODE1" (just the monster to replace, dont need to add the second ID) to remove a monster type from the replace list.

enter "clearbanlist" to reset the ban list or "clearreplacelist" to reset the replace list or "momsbanlistclearall" for both lists.

This is included in POTATO PACK 2.

Is there a variant which doesn't do the mom's hand animation, and instead just the puff of smoke like Eraser?

just tested and it works fine for me, for both banning and replacing, with both debug console and config menu, any error messages in your console?

Sorry for the comments insinuating an issue was here- The Trinket banlist developer is the one who duplicated your code lazily. Directing it there instead.

More specifically, it appears- Mom's Banlist is pulling from Trinket Banlist's table when it (mom's) updates; however, if I add something to the Trinket banlist, mom's does not update to match it until I give Mom's banlist any changes. After resetting the mod to default, this behaviour remains the same and save1.dat for momsbanlist remains a mirror of Trinket banlist's.
