How to easily cheese Troupe Leader Grimm

As stated in the title, this is an easy way to cheese Troupe Leader Grimm. This probably won't work as well for Nightmare King Grimm, considering his higher health pool.

Setup

For this strategy you need to have abyss shriek, along with this charm setup (The extra notch is from beating him):

The Fight

Before you start the fight, get full soul. When the fight starts, hit Grimm as he is bowing to trigger his pufferfish attack, then get under him and spam abyss shriek until your soul is drained. At this point he will either do his stagger, dispersing into bats, in which case you should hit him a few times with your nail, or do his pufferfish attack again, in which case you should use grubsong to regain soul and continue spamming abyss shriek. A few repeats of this, and he should be defeated.

So here's one that worked like a CHARM for me (heh.)

Stalwart Shell + Grubsong + Quick Focus + Soul Catcher

Nail + heal right after taking damage, works for all bosses that deal 1 damage (that doesn't fly away from you of course)

Finally managed to beat him. Thank you! I survived with one mask- although I did wait and get him to his first balloon attack naturally, getting me that last bit of damage I needed.

I beat him with Grimmchild, Spell Twister, Stalwart Shell, Grubsong, and Shaman Stone with your tactic, I found this setup worked better for me. Get all masks and vessels, mash abyss shriek, and you should finish with one or two masks.

Replace joni's blessing with soul eater or soul catcher + sth else. I will work better trust me.

This does not work for me. I have literally all masks, vessel fragments, charms, pure nail, and the first 10 notches and I have died twelve times still. I don't know if there is something with the characters to do with a buff or if I'm just that bad. Probably the alternative, honestly.
