Anti-Pyro Loadouts
Av In the balls
In this Guide I will list Loadouts which are (almost) perfect for fighting against Scums who can't aim Pyros.
This guide doesn't include a Loadout for Pyro himself/herself as Pyro Vs Pyro are to 90% WM1 fights.

Scout
Let's start up with the local Weeabo, The Scout

For the Primary Slot we use the
Force a Nature
due to it's high Damage Output and Knockback.
If you aim well you can take the Pyro out within a second or you can send him into a cliff on maps like Hightower.

For the Secondary Slot we use the
Mad Milk
You can extinguish yourself If a Pyro has hit you with his Flamethrower but also your teammates which reduces the Cooldown.
You can also use it against the Pyro by throwing it at him and shooting at him for Health Regenaration for you and your teammates

For the Melee slot we use the
Sun on a Stick
as a real weapon instead of a mem weapon.Due to the 25% Fire Resistance you can survive longer and maybe get the Healthkit before you die of Afterburn If you are out of Milk
Soldier
Our favourite American, The Soldier

Airblast can be a pain but there's still the
Beggars Bazooka
Due to the fact that the Rockets are 20% less accurate the Pyro will have problems if he's going for a Deflect. And the chance that a Rocket hits him is very high since you can shoot 3 Rockets at one moment.

If he still manages it to Deflect all of your rockets you should switch to the Stock
Shotgun
It's a massive Damage dealing gun which can cause a problem for the Pyro if you aim well.

The
Zatochi
gives you 50% of your Health back and has a bigger range. On maps like Dustbowl where Close Combat takes place everywhere you can try to get him with the Katana and even survive the afterburn. But choose careful! You lose 25% of your Health if you switch back to your other Weapons if you didn't kill somebody with it.

Demoman
An Englishman with a Dress The Demoman

Although Pipes can 2 hit all classes (except Heavy) Pyro can reflect them. That's why we use the
Loose Canon
You can the launch the Pipe whenever you want so Reflecting will be way harder for the Pyro.

The
Quickybomblauncher
explains itself. You charge bombs faster which gives you a damage bonus. I recommend detonating the bombs in the air to make airblasting for the Pyro harder.

Same as Soldier the
Zatochi
gives you 50% of your Health back and has a bigger range. Again on maps like Dustbowl where Close Combat takes place everywhere you can try to get him with the Katana and even survive the afterburn. But again, choose careful! You lose 25% of your Health if you switch back to your other Weapons if you didn't kill somebody with it.

Heavy
The Face of TF2, The Heavy

Heavy is in my opinion the best Pyro Counter in the whole game due to this huge amount of weapons which are very effective against Pyro.
Are you sick off Phlog Pyros running into your Team on Dustbowl and getting dozen of kills?
Well good for you as the
Natasha
exists! This Minigun slows Enemies down depending on range.
So the Pyro won't even touch you before he dies of you.

The
Dalokohs Bar
gives you 50 additional health for 30 seconds. If there's no Medic (and we all know that Medics in Pubs don't exist) it's the perfect choice. You take more damage so you can kill more Pyros AND you won't die of afterburn due to the low Cooldown. But if there's a Medic use the Shotgun of your choice (Family Buisness, Shotgun, Panic Attack) to finish them if your aim is good.

The
Fists Of Steel
decrease the damage you take from long range weapons but this applies somehow for Pyros Flamethrower (Don't ask me why). Use them to escape or to kill them to end his massacre of killing he causes by beating up a spider which runs on the mouse of a Pyro main.
Engineer
Our bacon making texan, The Engineer

Engineer's Weapons are all mostly very situational but since there are almost 5 Pyros on the enemy team I would recommend you the
Rescue Ranger
If a Pyro decides to take down your Sentry Nest with an uber you can easily save your Buildings by Reparing them or Teleporting your them.

The
Pistol
is an average weapon which can be used at any moment. It deals much Damage , It's good on Low-Medium Range and Reloads fast. It's also a good backup option and is always aviable compared to the Wrangler where you need an active Sentry.

Since we are using the Rescue Ranger we use the
Wrench
as we want to get Big guns to kill a lot of Pyro Scums. The Stock Wrench is the best choice here since you don't get more Damage from Enemies or a lower repair rate. The Eureka Effect can also be used here but I'm personally not a fan of the decreased Construction Speed.

Medic
Sanitäter!

Medic isn't a combat class, we all know that. He's based on support so he basically shouldn't mess with Pyros.
But his Weapons are still good escape options if a Pyro hunts him down.
The
Blutsauger
would be a perfect choice for the primary slot due to the Health you get by hitting an enemy which can also result in a kill sometimes.

This Secondary is obvious, The
Vaccinator
The 4 Ubers can give you Fire Resistance till 75%. This allows you and your patient to rush points guarded by Pyros but It can also be used as an Escape tool like I mentioned before.

The
Solem Vow
explains itself. If the Pyros has much health (>65)left run away.
If he's low (<65)hunt him down.
Sniper
The Saxton Hale Wannabe, Sniper

The Majority of Pyros goofs around on maps like Dustbowl or 2fort where the Sniper Riffle isn't that good. Luckily the
Hunstman
still exist and is excellent for Corner Peeking.

Combine that with the new
Darwins Danger Shield
which gives you a 50% Resistance against fire and 100% Protection against Afterburn and Arrows are going to stick in the asses and heads of Pyros all the time.

If you are out of ammo switch to the
Schanasha
....Shahanscha....Shacsh....whatever that Melee giving you a Damage bonus when you are under 50% of your health.
Pyro can take you down very quick so switch back to the Melee slot and swing it in his face and enjoy the damage bonus you got since you are under 50% of your health after changing weapons when a pyro attacks you.
Spy
Gentlemen?

Spy (and Medic) is the Worst class when it comes to Pyro. Only one flame particle detects him and in 70 % of all cases you will die. But don't give up, there is hope.

The
Diamond Back
gives you crits for each enemy you backstabbed and building you sapped (So basically for doing things you are supposed to do).
Those can be used against Pyros to kill them very fast. This weapon also has less Downsides than the Ambassador so I would recommend using it. If you're a god Spy stay with the Amby.

Also use the
Spy-Cicle
It gives you a 100% Protection against Afterburn for 10 Seconds and 1 Second against Flames If a Pyro attacked you with flames.
Just hide after that and wait till your Knife recharges.

Of course the
Dead Ringer
is also in this Loadout. You can survive one Attack and you are immune against flames for 1-2 seconds but play careful as Valve removed the abillty to regenarate Cloak through Dispenser and Ammo kits

The End

The Spy Loadout is literally the most demonic loadout in all of TF2 History.

The best Demo primary to counter a Pyro is the Iron Bomber, due to the low velocity of the grenades, even if you can airblast, they don't go very far. Using the Loose Canon is just asking the Pyro to double-donk you with it.

I am a pyro main, and I approve this message.
