How to Max a Character And Everything Else
By Stockfish lvl 10
This will be a guide on "How to Successfully max your Character"

Stats you need to max:
Stat:Difficulty(Where to get it) + You can get all apart the last 2 from Events.

Attack: Medium (Mostly from O1, Flying Brains,White Demons and in abysses, Sprite Gods in Sprite World)
Defense: Medium (Mostly from O1, Slime God, Ent God, Bosses in Dungeons)
Speed: Easy (Snake Pit Boss and SECRET ROOM)
Dexterity: Easy (Dexterity World)
Wisdom: Medium (Undead Lair)
Vitality: Medium-Hard (Abyss of Demons)
Mana: Hard (Ocean Trench)
Life: Hard (Tomb of the Ancients)

Choosing Yor Character:
The easiest ones to max are Wizard/Mystic/Necromancer As they have a mix of high DPS and long range
Medium ones are Priest, Archer, Huntress. Priest as they have such low DPS at O1 it is hard to get a drop.
Harder ones are all the rest. Melee classes are a little easier If you know what your doing.
DO NOT TRY AND MAX A ROGUE WITHOUT A FARMING CLASS!
A common mistake is having a rogue not maxed and trying to farm with it, its incredibly hard and not worth your time, although you think you may be good as a rogue, unless you have had it maxed it is actually quite hard to play and easy to die with.
ONE STAT POT WILL NOT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE, don't let this fool you or demoralize you, you will see the difference after a few.

Maxing your Character:

Snake pits are relatively easy, Go in one every time you see one, they are an easy SPD at least, ALWAYS DO THE TREASURE ROOM unless very low on HP and HP pots. The boss is hard for some classes as it hits hard for unmaxed def classes, keep strafing left and right for the first phase and then the blind phase dodge the red bombs and move forward/backwards to dodge the blind balls.

Dexterity Worlds (Sprite Worlds) are relatively easy unless you are not a ranged class (Staff/Stave) then it is possible to die in easily as the shots do repetitive 30+ damage. The trick to this is to strafe left and right. Don't stop moving! for a staff/Stave class you can go inbetween the turrets. The Turrets HURT! wait till they dissapear before getting the dexterity potion. KILL the Sprite Gods in the sprite worlds as they have a higher chance of dropping attack pots(do this on abysses as well).

Undead Lair is usually not hard if you have done multiple snake pits and dexterity worlds before hand but it is possible to solo it if you have maxed defense, attack, dexterity and speed. If you are not maxed then go with other people and clear it. The thigns that hurt the most is the slimes but can be taken out with staff classes as you are out of their range. The boss will quiet you so use all of you spells etc on your first phase. Archers who can paralyse, paralyse the boss after it has finished the first phase so it will be easier to hit him.

Abyss of Demons: This is long and hard and should only be done if you are 4-5/8 and only done with other people. Otherwise it is very straight forward, clear the brutes until you reach the boss. Shout 'Clear Please' and then hopefully the people with you will clear the white demons with you which coulld kill you if you went straight for the boss. THIS BOSS IS STILL RELATIVELY HARD FOR MAXED CHARACTERS! only solo it if you really know what your doing. Killing the hite demons help you survive and have a higher chance of dropping attack.

Ocean Trench: Straight forward when you find this in a realm (Drops from Hermit God) wait for someone to rush, don't idle or people will drag and when the person gets to the boss it will most probably die in 5 seconds so being maxed will help with your SB chance. It also has a chance of coral gift (drops up to 3 more coral drops) Thessal(boss) will say 'Is King Alexander Alive?' and you should reply and have copy and pasted 'He Lives and Reigns and conquers the world' in which she should reply 'Thank you, Kind Sailor' and drop the coral gifts in a triangle infront of 3 of the 4 Octopuses. If you fail to say this she will say 'You speak Lies!' Nexus immediately as if you are near her it is an instant death PERIOD.

Tomb of the Ancients: This drops from Grand Sphinx (has a chance of dropping). You should be at least 6-7/8 but acceptable if you are 4-6/8. LET OTHER PEOPLE CLEAR WHO ARE MORE EXPERIENCED, it is easy to die clearing as everything in the tomb hurts. Type /pause in a place of your choosing (in a corner) or people will drag mobs onto you as lots of the top guild do to get people out of the tomb who can screw it up. BES-NUT-GEB. This means ONLY attack the fat one first, then the blue one, then the Green one. DO NOT ATTACK ALL OF THEM AT ONCE! I'm not going through how to do it exactly as that should come from experience but be warned, the quicksand makes you extremely slow and EVERYTHING HURTS! keep on high HP but it is possible to instantly die from a shotgun. KEEP AUTOFIRE OFF!

Oryx 1: This is a great source of def/att as usually you get at least 1 of either along with occasionally a old top or decent ring which you can sell to max your character. This should be relatively easy for semi-experienced players and I think the SB threshold is about 3-4000 so good luck with Loot!

Oryx 2: Rush if you have 45+ spd and decent defense. It is really easy to die from the shotgun that o2 throws at you. He throws it at the closest player to him so any melee class stay back and wait for someone else to stun him or you will die. It takes vast amount of experience and skill and a bit of luck to stun o2. You can get a range of tops and potions so good luck and sell you tops rather than wear then as it is usually better to wear old tops than tops as the difference is minute. Damage threshold about 1-2000 but feel free to overdamage :P

If you get items then you should sell them for defense potions, either max defense or spd first as they are the most important for staying alive. If your decent at dodgin max spd first as they will help you dodge and try and max both at the same time.

Most people manually max 6/8 and then max 8/8 with extra pots/tops because, for OT it is hard to get mana from it because there are so many people usually and Tombs without a good guild who open private tombs its hard to find one in regular playing. You will eventually need to learn to do tombs as they are the most effective way to make money on realm. Once you are 6/8 and a decent amount of fame get into a top 100 guild or a decent guild to do tombs and OT and private WC runs.

Characters:

Different characters have different maxed stats, choose your favourite character to max first and then max other characters.
Once you max a wizard or staff class then you should get to work potfarming for another character.
This is essential for maxing a rogue, max another character to potfarm for your rogue so long-term you will benefit the most as its more fun to play on a max character.

I'm going to put a small bit of info on a rogue because it helps as this is the character that most people want to max, but take it as a general guide;
Max SPD FIRST!
If you can, max spd and def first.
Then max dex and attack but firstly dex as it will make you hit a lot faster and attack will be gained along the way your maxing dex.
Wisdom and Vit come next of course, Wisdom should definately be maxed first but dont neglect Vitality, it is a useful stat and will stop you dieing (you'll feel it when your maxed vit)
Mana and life are next, i usually recommend life before mana! It's more expensive but it will help you survive a lot so that you can max mana in your own time.

Role:
Check your role on www.realmeye.com high hp and mana is good!

It takes a lot of practise and grinding to get it going but when it starts its really great!
Warning: ONCE YOU START MAXING YOU CANNOT GO BACK! you will get too used to max spd etc and you will not want to play with an unmaxed character

Ask any more questions in the comments sections or for me to add anything to my guide!

Getting to Level 20 Easily
Fame Trains.

These are always located in EuWest2 althou#gh sometimes there arent any early in the morning depending on your time zone. It is the realm with about 50 people trying to go in :D.

What is a Fame Train?

A fame Train is where you can get lots of xp and fame very quickly. It functions by a very large group of people teleporting together in Godlands and just moving around shooting at Gods which gets you xp. There more people there are, the faster god respawns so the more xp you will get. Staying alive in a fame train is incredibly easy just stay in the middle and preist and pally buffs will heal you, although at low levels you may need to dodge bullets most importantly is the medusa bomb.

There isn't much to a fame train, just sit in it and get to level twenty, see if you have a good role on realmeye.com, if not just die and rinse and repeat
Rough Guide on How to Max a Knight
How to max a Knight;

A knight is the tankiest class in ROTMG, and mostly seen as the easiest Melee Class to make and play with, but it is relatively hard to max!
It maxed out at;

Attack: 50
Defense: 40(highest)
Speed: 50
Dexterity: 50
Vitality: 75
Wisdom 50
Mana: 252
Life: 770

The only really difficult ones are Life,Mana, and vitality as they are reasonably hard to get and thats a lot of abysses you'd need to do.

The average role of a knight's attack is 43 but you can get up to 48 so it could be tempting to max it straight away and get 1/8. Don't do this as you can get attack pots from O1 and it saves time from trading pots later on, theres not a massive difference in damage from 43 or more to 50.

Defense seems like a massively hard stat to max, but it isn't if you take your time. If you have any pots at the beggining use them on Speed! You will get defense along the way. If you consistantly do sprite worlds you will sometimes get a defense pot as well so thats more defense that you can drink. Stone guardians will drop sometimes 1 defense, the damage threshold is 5000 so be sure to get your damage in. Oryx 1 will be where your main defense comes in, it almost always drop 1 defense so after a few O1's and stone guardians you should be on your way to maxing defense.

Dexterity/Speed should be the first stat you max as they are the most easily obtainable from dungeons, go in every sprite world and snake pit you see and it should max in a couple hours at most. Max speed if you have defense pots at the start as well as gear.

Wisdom should be maxed pretty easily when your 4/8, you may want to try rushing it for fast wisdom pots, but always be careful of the slimes and the massive robots confuse's. There are also wisdom events which usually drop a wisdom or a vitality.

Vitality takes a while and is better that you have a good guild to run them with, regardless even if you are 8/8 it is hard as the journey takes a while and you have to clear it. Again events will drop vitality so get your soulbound in. You may want to sell items you get for vitality which is a good idea but don't sell your items for other pots apart from vit, mana and life.
Rough Guide on Maxing a Huntress/Archer
There are subtle differences between the archer and huntress, the only one really being the trap/Quiver;
Quiver shoot in a straight line and trap spreads out.
Trap takes time to fall.
Quiver over T3 paralyse, but only coral venom trap paralyses for the huntress.
Quivers are more expensive.
Quiver of Thunder can daze, which is important at O2.

The Archer is played much more than huntress, in fact, in my opinion, archer is far better than huntress, you can't use a huntress in a tomb because the trap will activate other bosses so you can only use it when the bosses are raging, it also takes too long to fall so is not useful as a 'running away' tool. Archer's quiver may only travel in a straight line, but against a bunch of gods or minions it can paralyse most of them, and the piercing arrows help kill the gods/mobs. The Daze effect of the QoT comes in useful at O2 by helping the knights stun and get their soulbound damage in, and the paralyse helps that as well as it is easier to hit a not moving target. The quiver also gives more dexterity so the DPS is higher than the huntress, but only slightly.

In my opinion, a Doom is essential for a bow class, as otherwise the damage is too low as the arrows spread out. Without the doom bow the bow classes are not effective at getting loot anywhere. If you are not maxed Doom bow>Coral Bow, although the coral bow does do more damage if both of the arrows hit, its not worth getting that close.
Maxing the bow classes are essential, the bow class is only effective if maxed, otherwise do not use it. EVER. Make a wizard and potfarm until you have enough pots to max a few stats. The attack of the bow classes is 75, which is the shared highest in the game.
Archer/Huntress is useful in most cases, but its ability to do events like skull and cube gods is negligable. Pot farming is not as good as you may think, the arrows spread out too much even with the coral bow as the arrows spread out, so a staff class will be much better.
Doing tombs and O1+2 is relatively easy with the archer if you use the doom bow, but never use a three shot bow in a tomb, or ever really not even to clear, its not worth it, the dps is too bad so just use a coral bow/doom bow.

General the archer is quite bad at defense, so relies on being good at dodging and a good pet. Useing either class is good if you are part of a good guild who opens events or does a few wc as they are decent at getting soulbound if they are maxed att and dex.

You and Your pet
To be honest it's quite simple, max the pet by giving it items then fuse it with another maxed pet.

Remember: PUT THE PET WITH THE ABILITIES YOU WANT TO KEEP FIRST THEN THE FUSER AFTER.

Wha'ts a good pet to get?

Humanoid or penguin eggs are often the most desirable as they give hp or mp as the first skill and a random second one. I advise maxing the pets with Hp/Mp Heal as they will benefit to your survivability the most.

What do I feed my pet?

This really depends, if you happen to get tops everyday and don't mind discarding some then they can really give a lot of feed power but if you are less experienced and do not get that many items feeding them T10 and lower are fine. There is no "waste" of fame, but there is the chance to be very unefficient with feeding your pet. Keep to your budget, don't spend all your items on some food power, you can feed it along the way with the items you get.

Should I buy Food Power?

Maybe, if its a good deal and you want to get your pet maxed fast then by all means do it, but it's not essential to max your pet by any means, just slowly max it day by day and you'll get a very good pet eventually.

My friend has a better pet than mine because he spent money on food power, is that fair?

Fairness isn't something that is a given in a game, the game is only fun because of the imbalance in the game. I'm sure you feel that the ninja class isn't as good as other classes or what not but it remains the fact it is in the game, imbalanced but not broken. This is called the "Perfect Imbalance" and makes the game fun. So to answer the question is it fair? No, not really, but if you are better than him a pet won't make you live forever, it increases survivability for sure but don't get into the false impression that pets make you invincible.

I don't have that much fame, should i use gold?

No, not ever. Fame is replacable and not too hard to farm up, don't use laziness as an excuse to do something you could get for free anyway.

I fused my pet and it turned into something I didn't want, can I undo this?

No, tough luck.

Is it worth investing all of my items to upgrade my pet?

Not really, items are replacable but you can get them along the way, you always should have a store of items in the odd case that you die.

Pets are OP!

Don't get lulled into a false sense of security that a pet makes it impossible to die. If it were OP then no-one would die.
Death
Your going to die at one point in realm, either very often or very rarely depending on your skill. As long as you keep trying you will get better at the game --- you will never stop dieing, but your skill determines how long you stay alive which is why guilds ask for current fame to be high - it shows skill as a player.

one tip for you, if you have only one player slot, it's best to not farm for stat increases, but instead work towards a good pet and login daily until you get at least two or three character slots. Once you have that, it's a lot easier to make and keep maxed characters and get good loot.

If you're looking for a guide to get fame, one great way is to do the bonuses. If you can aim, sniper is an easy bonus. If you're an early game player, boots on the ground is a great and easy fame bonus to get, as you'll probably want experience walking around a bit anyways and won't need to participate in as many high level events, so you won't need to teleport.

Abyss also has treasure rooms fyi

edit: Stuff like abyss is 'clear whites' rather than phase also. - they're easy as long as you're willing to take your time with it as well.

Wand classes can cheese the hell out of limon (sprite world) by sitting between the furthest towers firing and doging his 40 odd damage shots with relative ease.

Also, speed over dex first?
personal preference i guess :)

Just lost my knight I had 2/8. Let this be a leason to you. Use another class to farm pots and defense is the most important to obtain.
