Serious Horsam: Fusion [SP/COOP]

He's back, he's mad, and he really tastes like raisins!

Serious Horsam is a comedic 'lowest effort as possible' SP/COOP mod that I originally made in early 2013 and expanded upon in later years. Thanks to a very high demand for a Fusion port, I've poured a lot of time and effort into narrowing down the problems that the original mod as well as taking advantage of Fusion's new abilities to turn it into it's own thing - the mod does NOT replace anything and is completely seperate with it's own game title.


If you are not into toilet humor, I would not recommend playing through the mod - as it doesn't really offer anything much other than that.


Like mentioned previously, the mod uses its very own gametitle. If you'd like to launch the game with its gtitle, simply right click "Serious Sam Fusion 2017" in your steam library, go to Properties > Set Launch Options and write in "+game Z_SeriousHorsam".




- All in one: The main campaign and all it's DLCs have been ported without replacing anything, and can be played right at the end of each one for a more unified experience.
- Rebalances: New rebalances to weapons, enemies and other parts of levels that were previously so poorly balanced it ruined the entire fun.
- New content: New weapons and enemies scattered throughout some of the levels.
- Additional lore: An additional plotline that spans across all the levels.
- VR support: Supports VR! (although the mod requires JOTN, and that's not out for VR yet - so you'll have to be patient)



Q: In multiplayer, my playermodel is using HD animations instead of BFE. What do?

A: This is a universal problem with custom game titles. As of right now there is no way to tell the gametitle which models to use, and so it just jumps between BFE and HD. If you happen to get stuck with HD animations, the best you can do is enter this console command prj_strGameOptionMultiplayerModel=("Content/SeriousSam3/Models/Player/") (while filling in the correct path to your player model), and then respawning. For example, prj_strGameOptionMultiplayerModel=("Content/SeriousSam3/Models/Player/AirfieldPrincess/AirfieldPrincess.mdl")

Q: When I launch the game with the custom gtitle, my multiplayer models menu is gone! What do?

A: Yet another problem with custom gametitles without a known fix. Sadly, the only thing you can do here is to launch with a SS3 or SSHD gtitle.

Q: I can't open up Netricsa!

A: Ding ding ding! You guessed it! Broken in custom gtitles.
