Introduction
Opening Notes
The goal of this guide is to
  • Show where the helix is in each level
  • Suggest how to get the helix in each level

It is assumed that you have already played through the main game and have working knowledge on the levels so this guide will NOT
  • Explain how common concepts such as S-rank or helices work
  • Show you how to reach the helix from the starting position
  • Show how to complete a level

It's also worth noting that unlike my other helix guide for the main game, this guide does NOT show every single step to pick up each helix.

If you're looking for guides to S-rank all levels of The Teleporter Chambers, I suggest you refer to my YouTube playlist or Double Dark's Steam guide.

Basics
The Teleporter Chambers is a set of 20 levels which are built around teleporters.
The levels are separated into 2 sectors - X01 and X02 containing 10 levels each.
They are formated in the same way as the main game is.
  • Chambers 1-8 are unlocked in linear order when you complete the chamber before it.
    (e.g. completing X-1 will unlock X-2)
  • Chamber 8 of each sector is the sentinel level (boss level).
  • Chamber 9 is unlocked when you S-rank chambers 1-8 in a sector.
    (e.g. S-rank X-1 til X-8 will unlock X-9)
  • Chamber 10 is unlocked when you find all helices in chambers 1-8 in a sector
(e.g. Collecting all helices from X-1 til X-8 will unlock X-10)

Here are some additional facts on The Teleporter Chambers:
  • You CANNOT complete the levels without using the teleporters.
  • You begin each level with the teleporters located next to the starting point.
  • There is NO CHOICE to use a different loadout (e.g. no equipment, camo suit, decoy, sonic decoy, anti light)

Teleporters
  • There can only be a maximum of 2 teleporters in a level at any given time.
  • You can only carry 1 teleporter with you and you can only drop/throw a teleporter if you're carrying one.
  • Press the CARRY/THROW button to drop the teleporter and press the CARRY/THROW button together with a direction to throw the teleporter.
  • You can pickup/drop/throw the teleporter when you are in mid-air.
  • Enemies like seekers and robots are affected by teleporters too.
  • Vendors will dispense 2 new teleporters in front of the vendor.
  • Note that the vendor is the ONLY way to regenerate the teleporters, if ever you're in a situation where you've lost one or both teleporters.
  • When there are already existing teleporters in the playing field, using the vendor will make them disappear or rather the 2 new teleporters that appear in front of the vendor will REPLACE whatever teleporters there were previously.
Sector X01 - New Toys
X-1 TELETORIAL
On the right of the exit, there is a small gap which you can throw the teleporters into. Throw the teleporter in and teleport into the secret chamber with the helix.

The helix is higher than the max jump height so you need to use the teleporter to get it. Stand in the corner of the secret chamber and aim upwards. Immediately after you throw the teleporter up, teleport to it and take the helix.

X-2 HITTING TARGETS
At the section with the double moving platforms on each side, you can either throw the teleporter towards the left side to reveal the secret chamber with the helix or you can just crawl in which is the easier approach since you don't have to nail the throw.

An example of throwing the teleporter into the gap to reveal the secret chamber with the hidden helix.

I prefer to use the teleporter to get back out as it's faster and less prone to mistakes. Note: The only way out without teleporting is crawling out through the bottom.

X-3 RESOURCE RELOCATION
On the right side of the vending machine just above the exit, push the right "wall" to reveal the secret chamber with the helix.

Throw a teleporter down into the laser pit and throw the other teleporter to where the previous robot is.

Teleport the robot into the laser pit and pick up the helix while the robot blocks the laser for you.

X-4 LEAPFROG LASERS
Before you hack the final terminal, place a teleporter on the right half of the screen and hold on to the other teleporter.

Once the terminal has been hacked, the floor will split in the middle and move towards the respective sides. The helix is in the middle so just jump down, take the helix and teleport back to the teleporter that you left on the right half of the screen earlier.

X-5 CONTAINMENT PROBLEM
Push the left "wall" at the moving platform between the 2 vending machines to reveal a secret chamber with a switch.

Turn the switch on to reveal the secret chamber with the helix. Jump into the laser pit to pick up the helix and teleport back to the teleporter that's still on the moving platform.

X-6 TRIP HAZARD
Throw a teleporter into the pit on the right of the exit and leave the other teleporter next to the exit. Alternatively, you can just jump over the exit and down into the pit.

Teleport to the teleporter you just threw down to reveal the secret chamber with the helix. Once you pick up the helix, a moving platform will move in from the right and crush you UNLESS you teleport back out.

X-7 SENSOR POSITION
Jump towards the left of the starting point to reveal the secret chamber with the helix.

Drop one of your teleporters into the teleporters in the floor. Then drop the other teleporter into the teleporters as well shortly after you drop the 1st teleporter. Use the teleporters to teleport upwards to the helix location.

Alternatively, if you find the above method too difficult, just drop one of your teleporters into the teleporters in the floor and hold on to the other one. Then teleport to the teleporter just before it passes the helix.

Or you can try holding left when you teleport up so that you teleport on to the platform on top.
Note: In the screenshot below, I'm actually standing on the platform.

X-8 UNDER THE BOSS' NOSE
When you reach the top, place one teleporter on the floor and throw the other one through the teleporters on the right. Teleport to the teleporter you threw and pick up the helix.

Ideally you pick up the teleporter that you threw, so that you can teleport back to the top of the level.

If you can't pull that off, you will need to pick up the teleporter you left on the floor BEFORE you teleport to the teleporter that you threw. So that you can teleport to the teleporter that falls down through the force field.

X-9 TERMINAL SEQUENCE
Basically you need to hang on to the right side of the moving platform at the bottom. Then when you reach the right edge, jump off to reveal the secret chamber with the helix.

The distance between the ledge you're on and the platform with the switches is obviously more than your max jump length, so you'll need to throw the teleporter in mid-air to each platform with a switch. Each switch unlocks a door that blocks your path to the helix. You will need to unlock all 3 doors to gain access to the helix.

This should be what you're aiming for.

X-10 JUMPING THE BARRIERS
There is a secret passage through which you can crawl into at the bottom left area just below the teleporters. This secret passage will lead you to the hidden helix. Note that if you have raised the moving platform, it will block the path to the helix.

Sector X02 - Warped Thinking
X-11 TO THE TOP
First you will need to release the robot by opening both trapdoors.

Once the robot has been released, use your teleporter to send the robot to the chamber with the sensor to open the outer trapdoor (left). While the outer trapdoor is open, throw a teleporter up into the pocket on the right side.

Go back up and move the teleporter from the chamber with the sensor to open the outer trapdoor (left), to the chamber with the sensor to open the inner trapdoor (right). Then swap positions with the robot and pick up the helix.

X-12 RED BUTTON BLUES
On the far right where the robot is typically trapped, there's actually a secret passageway from either of the chambers into the a hidden chamber with the helix. I suggest swapping places with the robot (as shown in the screenshot below) to avoid getting seen as you go into the secret passageway. If you didn't take a teleporter with you, the only exit is using the teleporters lined on the left wall.

X-13 ONWARDS & UPWARDS
Basically you need to either slingshot yourself up or use the jump-throw-teleport technique which I usually use in order to get yourself to the top left ledge shown in the screenshot below. I'll be showing the jump-throw-teleport technique, for which you'll need to bring both teleporters to the 1st terminal.

Leave a teleporter on the ground and pickup the other teleporter. Then jump up and throw the teleporter upwards (as in jump and throw the teleporter using CARRY/THROW + ↑). When you fall back on to the ground use the teleporter on the ground to teleport to the teleporter you just threw up. You will need to hold left to hang on to the ledge as you usually won't have enough height to reach the top. This is the end result of the jump-throw-teleport technique.

At this point you can see the helix is on top of a platform in the middle. Throw the teleporter up and teleport to it to pickup the helix.

X-14 TWO-PORT PROBLEM
A new section on the right will be unlocked after you hack the final terminal.

Throw a terminal into the small passageway and teleport to it. You will need to get past a series of sliders in order to make your way to the helix.

X-15 CUT-THROAT BUSINESS
There is a pressure plate above of the 2nd terminal on the right wall. Activating it will reveal a hidden area on the left.

You will need to throw a teleporter in to the hidden area through the small gap in order to pickup the helix.

X-16 CRUSH THE COMPETITION
A new section with the helix will be revealed after you hack the upper right terminal in the 2nd room.

There are many ways to pick up the helix. The method below is lengthy as it involves drawing the seekers out and exchanging positions with them. In the screenshot below I've teleported back out to avoid getting sandwiched by the 2 seekers. The next step is to throw a teleporter on to the edge of the platform above.

Draw both seekers out away from the helix. As the 2nd seeker passes the teleporter you left on top, activate the teleporter to swap positions with the seeker.

The seeker needs to stay on top of the teleporter while you make your way to the helix. After you've picked up the helix, swap positions again to avoid getting trapped.

X-17 SOUND PROPOSITION
As you approach the exit, there is a section lined with the "noisy blocks". When you try to cross this section of the floor, it will retract towards the left to reveal a pit containing the helix. Just drop a teleporter somewhere safe then jump into the pit to collect the helix and teleport back before you hit the buzzsaw.

X-18 BEHIND THE BOSS' BACK
After hacking the final terminal, a new section will open up above the right most terminal.

Throw a teleporter upwards into the hidden chamber with the helix.

You will need to activate the switch in order to open the door that blocks your path to the helix.

X-19 MECHA MAZE
Pick up the teleporter at the beginning of the level and position yourself roughly where the orange teleporter is in the screenshot below. Then throw the teleporter up. Pick up the teleporter on the ground and teleport up.

Do a crouching throw of the teleporter so that it will pass roughly where the helix is. Then as it passes the helix teleport to the thrown teleporter.

X-20 SWITCHING OFF
In the 2nd half of the level, you will notice a small opening to the right of the terminal (in the portion labelled '3'). Throw a teleporter into the opening and teleport to it. Note that the pathway opens up after you pickup the helix, so that you can exit without using teleporters.

Thanks
Thanks to Mr. Bidds @ onebitbeyond for always fixing the bugs in Stealth Bastard although I'm sure he'd argue that he'd rather not have them there at all. Hehe... XD

Special thanks to the folks that did the level design (in the same order as in the credits). The level of polish on the The Teleporter Chambers has been impeccable.

Yes, the achievements in blue/orange apply to the DLC only.
It's been clarified in this thread --> ( link )

Wait what? So you need a DLC to get some achievements?

Ah okay, shame for you :( Hopefully it comes to Steam eventually. Found everything anyway :P

I wish ; ) I believe that DLC will remain PS exclusive for awhile. There's no news whether it will even come to PC/Steam and I don't own a Vita/PS3 so I won't be able to do any guides for those.

Hey sprsclr, do you plan to do another helices guide (and S Rank videos) for the new DLC, The Lost Clones? I don't even know if it's available on Steam yet, I just saw it on the PlayStation Network.
