ARRC Atlas MK2 Base

Beskrivning
This is the ARRC Atlas MK2 roaming base. It is actuallly build to test what is possible. Suited for every situation a group of miners or even a mining corporation needs. The base version contains several rooms on 5 floors for different operations:
- a main bridge
- 2 operator rooms
- a medical station
- a messhall (with fridges, storage room, recycle bins)
- 2 front fuel storage rooms
- a front O2 storage room
- 2 equipment and locker rooms
- 2 main engine rooms
- a central vertical drill shaft
- a drill command and cargobay control room
- crew quarter (including shower and toilette)
- commander and second officer quarter (including shower and toilette)
- 2 main storage rooms (with a few boxes)
- a flight deck to upload cargo
- 2 upper fuel rooms
- 1 main cargo bay (without oxygen)
- and lots of nooks and crannies

personal note:
this is the base Version so it is basically not finished though it took me a good 40+ hours. The most important doors are automated, but most doors are manually use only. I didn't install any lights yet (limited deluxe edition only.... ;-) ) because i don't want to be responsible for any computer to melt. There is still ots of space left to integrade more devices.
It drives like a oil tanker and turns like one too. I leave it on the workshop for people to play around with it and having fun messing with it. It actually is very good in serving as a training object to test priating vehicles and boarding tactics. That may be the biggest use for it because it simply is way to big to be practical, because of the resources needed and... good luck finding a hanger it fits through the door.

So people, have fun with it. If you like it i am working on a more survival fitting MK1 and an even bigger but less chaotic MK3.

When i have time i will proceed to work on it. With all the new features for HVs. But it will probably not happen to soon i fear.
@Opressor: yes it took quiet a few hours, probably around 40+
I still like it for the industrial look and the heavy feel. Though i hope Eleon makes handling huge CVs like that a little more comfortable in the future.
For your garage: i did wrote in the official forum somewhere what kind of door it will fit through. The two biggest doors bottom to bottom will let it pass (10 wide, 9 high)

I like where this design is going. I never thought about an HV base with SV docking. Overall it's massive and well... Too big to move around well but the design and detail work is awesome. It was cool to try out and venture through the build. Thanks for the work.

Ye gods the size of that HV, a capital class version would be cool, good job

@jrandall
I made it for looks only and because i could. It took a fairly long time and i had fun stuffing all the things in every corner while always have a pseudo "useful way to put things" in my mind. So you are right, it is way to big to be practical and/or useful in any way. Though i hope people have still fun playing around with it and discovering the insides.
Maybe, when the game develops, there is a use for it one day. And i am sure i will come back to it one day to rework as the game develops.
@Kosovo_Joe
Yes, i am all for it. I would recreate it as a big one. Altough i have also a multistorage SV in the works that started off as a SV carrier for the Atlas (for when they hopefully integrated SV to HV docking) and made a spin of as a "small vessel going big". And actually recreated it as a CV.... and man, that thing is huge. And it takes even more time to fill with stuff, paint and texture it. :-D

This is pretty cool looking. I wasn't sure what it was from the screen shots until I saw the drilling gear. Like others have said, for the type of item it is, it most likely is to big, but that doesn't mean it doesn't look cool. Nice job.
