Description
I am no longer maintaining my Stellaris mods and, as a result, they are probably incompatible with the latest release. If you want to use my mods as the basis for your own, you are very welcome to do so.

This mod is not required for the current version of the game (v2.2.4), as the base game already has COMMAND_LIMIT_MAX set to 500.

This micro-mod increases the maximum fleet capacity to 500.

The reason for this is that, in the base game (v2.0.1):
  • Fleet capacity is capped at 200
  • There are repeatable techs that increase fleet cap by +10 per level
  • You can reach 200 fleet cap by researching all non-repeatable techs and taking all relevant traditions.

Technical Info / Compatibility
  • This mod should be compatible with every other mod that doesn't alter the same line in the defines file (ie. NGameplay -> FLEET_COMMAND_LIMIT).

Earlier versions / Beta versions:
  • All of my mods are available on Github[github.com] (eg. in case you want to revert to an earlier version)

It looks like they changed this to 500 in the base game. At least it is in 2.1.4.

yeah new ship classes mod hard capped the command limit at 300 i asked them about it

It's hard capped at 300? That sounds like a mod conflict - the base game is 200, and this mod changes it to 500. There's no reason for it to be 300 - unless another mod you're running is changing it to 300 and that mod is somehow taking precedence over this one. (See the compatibility info above.)

Can you paste a list of your active mods? I can take a look and see if I can spot the one that's causing the problem. My first suspicion is this "new ship classes" mod you mentioned - if they've added new classes, they may well have changed the fleet limit to compensate.

Im using new ship classes and i keep researching the fleet command size repeatable tech and my fleet cap will not go over 300. I done the console command research_technologies and it still is hard capped at 300.

@WERWOLF-SS: Please can you give me some more details?

Note that this mod allows you to increase your fleet capacity beyond 200 if and only if you have researched the necessary techs/traditions/etc. (For example, you could run the console commands "unity 1000000" and "research_technologies 1 5", and then manually unlock all traditions.)
