Description
City 8 Outlands
A map by Dave Brown, created for Taco 'N' Banana's Half-Life 2 Roleplay server.

City 8 takes place in the Combine Metroplex that was formerly Tokyo, Japan. As with City 17, the Universal Union has installed a Citadel and surrounding walls, and the rest is all pretty much common knowledge. I intended to show a Combine city that perhaps embraced the new way of life moreso than C17, where the Tokyo style could blend in with the CCA's trademark structures.

The City 8 storyline will take place on the TnB servers starting from mid-January 2010, as we attempt to do something refreshing with HL2 RP.

All mapping, textures, concept design, sound and models by DaveBrown.
The map is open to use by anyone.

Unfortunately, this map was never finished. Although it is in a playable state and not missing any textures/random gaps et cetera, there are many things that could have been polished and added.

The map worked completely fine before and I have everything required installed, now the skybox is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it isnt just me. This is something on behalf of the map itself.

I have CSS, half life 2 ep 1 and 2 but still missing skybox textures, everything else is completely fine for me

Maybe the reason your sky is missing textured is because it requires HL2 ep 1+2 you moron. if you read the description you would know.
