Complete list of achievements + tips on unlocking them.

Introduction

Hello there. I am Suzuki and welcome to my achievement guide for AoS2. I hope this guide will help you in getting achievements. If you have a question, suggestion or anything that you would like to say, feel free to leave a comment down below.

Campaign Achievements

These are all the achievements which require you to complete the campaign on normal or higher difficulty with specific characters.

Basically, to get all of these you just need to complete everybody's campaign or story. (Excluding Sumika).
Note: You can use as many continues as you like

Going Faster
Complete Suguri campaign on Normal or higher.



Cute Is Justice
Complete Saki campaign on Normal or higher.



Tomboy
Complete Iru campaign on Normal or higher.



Bit by Bit
Complete Nanako campaign on Normal or higher.



Blazing!
Complete Kae campaign on Normal or higher.



Cold Attitude
Complete Kyoko campaign on Normal or higher.



Sisters
Complete Hime campaign on Normal or higher.



Blue Skies
Complete Sora campaign on Normal or higher.



No Regrets
Complete Alte campaign on Normal or higher.



A Lot of Rocks
Complete Tsih campaign on Normal or higher.



The Sign of a Hero
Complete Mira campaign on Normal or higher.



Idols
Complete Sham campaign on Normal or higher.



A Peaceful World
Complete Nath campaign on Normal or higher.

Complete Star Breaker campaign on Normal or higher.

Unlock Achievements

These are achievements that are awarded by unlocking unlockables

Trickster
Unlock Sumika.


Tip: In order to unlock Sumika you may either...

• Complete Story Mode with all characters without using any continues
  
• Have 256 Battles on Arcade Mode + Complete Story Mode with any character without using any continues.

A Scenic View
Unlock all BGM & Stages.


Tip: Here is a complete list of all BGMs & Stages. (Credits to Kowii)

BGMs

• Swordfish - Complete Arcade Mode using 5 different characters or have 90 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.
  
• Remember Me - Complete Arcade Mode using 10 different characters or have 120 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.
  
• Accelerator - Complete Story Mode using 7 different characters without using any continues on any difficulty.
  
• Magical Girl of Miracles - Complete Story Mode using 10 different characters without using any continues on any difficulty.

Stages

• Crashed Spaceship - Complete Story Mode using 3 different characters without using any continues on any difficulty.
  
• Sumika's Hideout - Complete Story Mode using 5 different characters without using any continues on any difficulty.
  
• Guardian's Chamber - Complete Arcade Mode using 2 different characters from Suguri (Suguri. Saki. Iru. Kae. Nanako, Kyoko, Hime) without using any continues or have 15 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.
  
• Capital in Flames - Complete Arcade Mode using 2 different characters from Sora (Sora, Alte, Tsih, Sham, Mira, Nath, Star Breaker) or have 30 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.
  
• Moonlight Dance Hall - Complete Arcade Mode using 4 different characters from Suguri (Suguri. Saki. Iru. Kae. Nanako, Kyoko, Hime) or have 45 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.
  
• Whirlpool of Malice - Complete Arcade Mode using 4 different characters from Sora (Sora, Alte, Tsih, Sham, Mira, Nath, Star Breaker) or have 60 matches on Arcade Mode on any difficulty.

VS CPU Achievements

These are achievements awarded for beating the CPU in a certain way.

Untouchable
Win a match against a normal or higher CPU without taking damage.
Tip: You can set the opponent's handicap to 50%. (Thanks to 素晴らしいポッサム for the idea!)


Keeping It Cool
Win a match against a normal or higher CPU without going over 100% Heat.
Tip: You gain heat when you dash. When fighting Star Breaker, remember that her attacks can increase your heat by a significant amount when you are hit.

Tips for both achievements
For the "Untouchable" achievement just play as Iru and set the enemy to Tsih with 50% handicap. It should be easy to dodge Tsih's attacks while you spam missiles.

For the "Keeping it Cool" achievement just play as Iru and set the enemy to Kae with 50% handicap and spam missiles without moving. I guarantee that Kae will keep trying to get close to you.

Other Achievements

Here are the other achievements that didn't fit in a specific category.

1CC
Finish Arcade or Story mode without using any continues or retrying (on any difficulty).
Tip: Remember that you can play on easy difficulty if you are having a hard time getting this achievement.


Shield Breaker
Break an enemy Shield.
Tip: An enemy shield breaks only when you use your shield while inside it. Alternatively, find a friend and have both of you active your shields at the same time.


Combo Master
Perform a combo with at least 4000 damage against a normal or higher CPU or another player.
Tip: Set the CPU's Handicap to 300% and try to create a high damage combo or alternatively find a friend and have him stand still while you pick Nath and use her Accel Hyper.

Road of Champions
Play 100 games.
Tip: You will eventually get this as you keep playing.


Secret: Comeback Match
As Alte,use Accel Hyper to KO Sora against a normal or higher CPU or another player.
Tip: Play as Alte with 300% handicap against Sora with 50% handicap and easily win the battle. Alternatively, find a friend who can become Sora and get KO'ed for you

Final Achievement

Acceleration of SUGURI 2
Complete all achievements


And that's it! You have come to the end of your journey and you have earned all of the achievements. Now hang them up on your achievement showcase or something and give yourself a pat on the back--- You've earned it!

Story on how I got Combo Master
Ok so this is a funny story (at least I think it is) and I never expected to get the achievement. So anyways I was just trying out multiplayer and I entered a lobby and got matched with Phlebuster. At some point in the battle I wanted to test Nath's Accel Hyper so I went with it and it completely tore Phlebuster apart. The funnier part was that I was already torn up with 1 bar of health left at 75%. I tried this on others but it never really worked anymore. So... thats how I got the achievement xD.

for Comeback Match, use the accel hyper at close range or it won't work. just stack both characters before using it if you are unsure.

I unlocked Sumika without 1cc all characters (because I definitely didn't 1cc with Kae) and I didn't have 256 battles in Arcade mode either.
However, between Story mode and Arcade mode together I have 329 games played, and 264 games won in singleplayer (I checked it in the Leaderboards section), so it looks like it needs to have 256 games won (not necesarily in Arcade mode) and then complete Story mode without using continues.

Is there a way to check how many Arcade matches I have already played, or which characters I have already 1cc in story mode? I'm trying to unlock Sumika

i think so too cause i was playing story mode, under 256 arcade games and didn't beat story mode with all character without continues and right as i beat iru's story without continues i unlocked trickster
so maybe story does count
