A complete, quick'n'easy cheat sheet for all homunculi that can be summoned, as well as their affinities.
Includes all failed/invalid homunculus combinations (when using 3 different materials).

The closer to each end of the pentagram a homonculus is, the more of that material it uses.
Example:

"Tree" is in the Wood corner, since it uses Wood-Wood-Wood.
"Spiky" is closer the Wood corner than towards the Clay corner (Wood-Wood-Clay).
"Rag" is closer to the Clay corner than towards the Wood corner (Wood-Clay-Clay).

Regardless of the combination used to create her, sacrifice resources are based on what appears to be her default combination (1/3 chance each):

So Loss (Fear) may be the a way to obtain water on the very early game before unlocking it on shop.

Question, does the quality of materials also affects the homunculus created? I know it raises the homunculus level if the quality is higher. But for example:

Wood + Wood + Water = Insect

But Wood (quality low) + Wood (quality low) + Water (Quality high) = Insect?

Yeah, it's weird! Joy sure is the only type to have zero single-element homunculi.

Oshi. When I got to the first failed homunculi part in the tutorial/opening segment I thought they always had to be 3 of the same.

Didnt know 2 of the same plus a third would be considered successes. No wonder I couldnt get any Joy ones.
