2.1 Spiritualists Love Synths and Everyone Can Give Full AI Rights

Description
"It isn't blood, bone, or even flesh that makes us Human, it's what we do and feel that counts"
-Slightly innacurate Adam Jensen quote-

"Robots are just like people, sometimes even more Human than people. Synths who seek enlightenment are no different than Humans who do so"
-Buddha 12 million BC or something-

"We give robots rights because we seek moral superiority. Synths have feelings, emotions, and can feel love just as we do. As we move forward in the galaxy, we must learn that everything that can feel is equal. We must all learn to love eachother or perish. Love is the most powerful force in the universe."
-Raegarian president minutes before declaring unprovoked war on several pacificistic, defenseless spacefaring nations-

"Since our robots are building our homes, appliances, ships, and stations, mining our resources, growing our food and educating our children, we find that the interests of social justice are best served by allowing them to vote."
- Obamarian President, minutes before signing a law allowing robots to sue sapients for reparations over wrongs done to the robots that served them hundreds of years ago

Have you ever wanted Spiritualists to not have a happiness penalty from synth rights? Well now here it is.

This mod will NOT neccessarily make spiritualists build more bots, it will, however, make them more likely to give synths rights and allow them into leadership.

What it does;
-Spiritualists and fanatic spiritualists suffer no happiness penalty from synth leaders or synth equal rights
-Spiritualists are far more likely to give synths equal rights now

Enjoy and let me know if there are any problems

AS WITH ANY AND EVERY MOD NO MATTER HOW SMALL, REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR SAVES

Neat

Personally I think the way PotV does religion doesn't fit Stellaris too well
You have monotheism, polytheism, animism, etc. What is this Civilization?
I like how Ethics and Civics Classic does it where instead of socialism and capitalism they have "cooperative" and "competitive" economics. A much broader one that can fit thousands of alien ideologies and fit ANY headcanon and lore you come up with.

So if I did revive this mod I'd have "salvation", "philosophical", "mysticist", etc religion categories and customizations you could add that cage your attitude toward AI/robots or provide tradeoff maluses + bonuses.

Would be nice

Ah this mod heck
I've long since moved on from it and it won't be getting an update
If I ever did return to this concept I'd probably just make a religion overhaul where you make your own custom religion.
Kind of like the Pantheons of the Void mod but with mechanics and customizations

You'd be surprised how hard it would be to make that game run on one core. (Im not telling you though because i dont remember precisely, ask some eggheads in modding discord or so)

@StarFoth The Burgundy Silk Rug Please do update this mod, lots of people would really appreciate if you updated this mod, especially for those of us who want to role-play as Shintoists.

Damn. I'm a simple guy, I doomstack the shit outta everything. But so the fleets also contribute to lag? I always thought pops were the main culprit. That whack engine seriously sucks balls. Might be better if they redid the game on an engine that runs on more than one core. They certainly got enough money for that, but I suppose Paradox has to milk this to the last penny.

Oh heck yeah lag is insane. I think what finally caused me to end the last game I played like 2 years ago was the fleet manager lag. More fleets means that screen lags more creating a hard cap on the number of fleets you could have before it simply went kaput

I fully understand that sentiment. I deinstalled the game over a year ago, too. Though the turn off for me wasn't the grind, but the lag. I don't mind managing a late game empire, if the game would actually let me. Lag coupled with crappy job ai drove me away.
