Ragdoll Blood

This addon makes your ragdolls/NPC corpses bleed when they take damage, be it from falling from big heights or from getting shot. Takes into account different material types, and even lets you add or remove more ragdolls to emit effects! Comes with a large variation of console commands, or, if you prefer, Q menu options.

Feel free to use this in your gamemodes or projects!




Q: My blood looks different or weird/The addon doesn't work!
A: You've installed something else that messes with this addon, there is absoluetly nothing I can do about it as the problem is on your end. Uninstall stuff until you find the culprit. If you don't believe me, disable everything except this mod and try again.

Q: How do I disable this addon?
A: Use the sv_ragdollblood_enable convar, or disable it via the Q menu (check the screenshots).

Q: NPC corpses don't bleed!
A: Enable keep corpses. Hold C, click "NPCs" on the top left, and enable "Keep Corpses".

Q: Player corpses don't bleed!
A: Get an addon that enables serverside corpses.

Q: There's a ragdoll that should be bleeding but isn't. How do I make it?
A: Add it to the whitelist

Q: There's a ragdoll that's bleeding that I don't want to. How do I stop it?
A: Add it to the blacklist.

Q: Will this work on servers?
A: Yes, as long as the servers have it in their addons.

Q: Wow you updated this addon from 2013. Does that mean that you're gonna update X?
A: No :)

Q: Where have you been?
A: Dead

Q: Can you please make X
A: No. I'm fine with taking suggestions but don't ask me to make stuff for you. I have my own projects and things to do, and making something for someone I've never met for no incentive whatsoever is not one of them. I am perfectly fine with adding additional content to my current work, however.
