I have started and stopped editing arma several times. Never looked or bothered with sites. I spent forever creating my way of having selectable loadouts and sectors with respawns that would be turned off and on according to owned the sector and were selectable.
Also it woulda been nice if you'd done more arma guides
Shame about armaholic. They were my goto for answers to the unknown.....
Been away for 4 years & am trying to catch up.
You would be surprised at how much of the old stuff still works......
Setting it up as per your instructions was easy.
Player synced to requester module, synced to (3) provider modules, which were synced to their own mortar crew. Triggers & markers used to identify target areas.
Was able to select different mortar crews with different salvo amounts w/o any problems.
If I don.t use the map, usually the rounds are dropped on my lap.
When clicking on the map marker, the crosshair does not align to the point on the map that I clicked on, it is offset. If there are any buildings nearby, the crosshair designates them as the target, not the marker I clicked on.
This artillery support module leaves much to be desired. What gives ??
Any assistance &/or clarification would be greatly appreciated......
1- Do the steps as describe in this guide (look's a bit different in 2018) and add the next steps to it
2- Name the support requester module (ex.: transportRM) and the support provider module (ex.: transportPM)
3- If not alwready there, add a new text file in your mission's folder and name it "InitPlayerLocal.sqf".
4- Add the line : [_this select 0, transportRM, transportPM] call BIS_fnc_addSupportLink;
