Arma III Default Keyboard Quick Guide

Arma III default keyboard settings to act as a quick reference point. Confused by all those button configarations? This guide will help you get to grips with the finger twisting.
Not all actions are listed, only the one's I deemed essential to a quicker learning curve. I will update when needed.

On release of full game I will try to design a complete keyboard layout limited to one or two pages, with clearer instruction and marked with popular keybindings. So please let me know what key bindings you find usefull.

nice instruction, but can you make one optimized for printing? Big fonts etc.
A white keyboard would print better.

@mmorrell1 hi..its beeen a while since I wrote this guide & its still good that some of you guys still take the time to read it!
As for your issue with ARMA .....stick with it it, its one of the most rewarding gaming experiances you could ever hope to play .. join a good ARMA community and im sure they would be more than happy to help you with understanding and using all those key commands.

THIS SUCKS! I can't even read this document on my 40" TV. Why is it so frigging hard to have a document that lists ALL keyboard commands in a manual? WTF kind of game with this complexity doesn't come with a manual? I am stuck where I look around and can't turn? It took me 1.2 hour to figure out how to drop a charge on a helo and I don't even know what of all the key presses I hit actually did it. I have no clue how to detonate it. This is probably the coolest and worst documented game I have even played. I'm trying man, but I am ready to delete this POS game. and if I do I had better get a refund.

I have been gaming for 30 years and never had this issue before.- WHERE IS THE COMPREHENSIVE MANUAL FROM THE MANUFACTURER? I WANT IT NOW.

A vest to 'Feel' the bullets? Really? During my military service I was lucky enough to 'feel' bullets.... That shit is not nice. Take it from me, you don't want to 'feel' bullets. Unless your vest forces red hot metal tearing through your flesh at high velocity, you won't ever actually 'feel' anything like what I was fortunate enough to 'feel'.....

@Cellus, ye compass is important but I think the binding works well in its default placement on the kb, if im in a squad and come under fire i tend to take cover first & then give a heading or direction of incoming fire to sqd mates. the compass sits well with watch,gps, diary etc in that they work togethjer but are not near the essential combat buttons. I'll take your comments into consideration for my definate best kb layout.

The one thing I would add over D's set-up is bringing the compass button closer, as it is often used in the heat of battle to call enemy positions. Otherwise, good work - this sort of thing is sorely needed in ArmA.
