The Challenge

Description
As you enter the dungeon, you wonder why you took this challenge. The air smells musty and damp, as if no one has been down here in hundreds of years. Yet, you feel as if someone's watching you. You try to turn and open the gate that you came in through to no avail. It is locked. You must find your way out of this place, whether you like it or not.

Thanks @fraggerman! Appreciate the review. I honestly would love to add more to the dungeon and I plan to throw in a few more levels so it doesn't end as abruptly as it currently does. The map was set up so that you could either fight your way through or (spoilers) attempt to make your way out of the prison after being dropped in from the secret and completing the puzzle. I agree, it's pretty unclear as to where you have to go from the prison, but if you haven't completed it yet, I'll give you a hint: it has to do with the cell doors. If you can open all of those, that's your key to freedom. I think I'll probably fix up the end part so that the exit is more clear and you have a definite goal to work towards.

Either way, thanks for the reply. You've encouraged me to put some more work into it! And ya never know, I might even add in some scripting for some cool FX later on.

I think the layout and puzzle/trap design is very well done, and none of it seemed to arbitrary or unforgiving. Except one which I'll overlook since you had the foresight to put an autosave right before hand. If your looking to adjust anything, I found progression unclear towards the end. It seemed geared towards you starting in the snail room and getting the key, having not done that first I was left unable to return to the main complex when I made my way back upstairs from being dumped in the pit. On a second attempt, I made sure to open the key door before taking the plunge, but even after making my way up, it seemed unclear where there was anywhere to continue. It would be appreciated if you would put something to indicate where we are to go next, or to insert an end dungeon if that was intended as the end. Overall though, keep up the good work.

This is just a dungeon that you can play through, very bare-bones, should take about 10-15 minutes if you're decent at the game. No modded assets, just the default.
