The Lure Plant Mod

Description
Summary: Lure plants no longer digest the items they eat or pick up, so you can use them to farm items without fear of losing them to digestion. Also increases the inventory slots of a lure plant to 100, and allows you to adjust many of their attributes as listed below.

UPDATE: Now no longer hibernates in the winter.
UPDATE2: Instant kill is now an option for eyeplant damage.
UPDATE3: Now includes 2 more settings, one which allows you to set the perish percentage of the perishable items eaten by the plant, and the other which while the first is anything except default, toggles whether food is kept fresh forever and ignores the perish percent you picked.

Details:
Adjustable attributes include:

Eyeplant Damage: 10 to 100 or Instant kill (default 20)
Eyeplant Health: 10 to 100 (default 30)
Eyeplant Time between attacks (seconds): 0.25 to 2 (default 1)
Eyeplant Attack Distance: 1 to 4 (default 2.5)
Eyeplant Stop Attacking Distance: 2 to 6 (default 4)
How long it takes for a plant to take root and grow eyes: 0 to 7 days (default 2)
Chance of growing a new lureplant: 1 to 100% (default 2%)
Time between lureplant spawns: 1 to 20 days (default 12)
Variance on the above time: 1 to 10 (default 3)

Perish Percentage: No change (leaves everything below as with the default lureplant), or 0 to 100%.
Note: 0% means everything the plant eats is instantly spoiled (i.e. birds and rabbits die instantly and food perishes unless the below is set to yes) 100% means everything is brought back to full freshness, allowing you to refresh items by feeding them to the plant.

Keep Food Fresh?: Yes or No. Does nothing if perish percentage is set to no change, otherwise makes edible items an exception to the above percentage rule, forcing them to be at full freshness.

So, if you want to make it so that all the birds it eats instantly die but their meat is not turned to rot if they drop meat not feathers, set the perish percent to 0% to kill the bird, and keep food fresh to yes.

This mod also makes it so that the plant no longer digests the things it picks up, so killing it will retrieve everything.
The inventory of the plant is increased to 100 so that you lose minimal items to inventory restriction.

This is done by replacing the plant in the base game with one that is literally identical except for having the functions that eat and digest things deleted, and the max inventory space set to 100. (may have compatibility issues with other mods that affect lureplants, since anything depending on these traits may break.)

do lureplants alery in a world are affected by this mod or do they just stay at default?

Hi 2basedJake. I figured out what was happening. The mod that was in conflict with yours is a mod named "45 Inventory Slots". This mod, as the name says, incress the players inventory size to 45 slots. I don't know why, but is this mod that make yours don't work properly. Thanks for all your support, was very friendly.

I did the same, and it works for me. Does it work for you if you disable all other mods, or if you use c_give("lureplant_bulb") in the console to get it? I am guessing either the crafting recipe is giving you the regular lureplant instead of the modded one, or something else is re-replacing the plant prefab with a different one that is not modded.

I created a new world. The only other mod affecting lureplants that I use is to craft a Lure Plant bulb. But this shouldn't affect it, cause is just a recipe...

When I did as you said, the log came back out for me. Are you using other mods (especially mods affecting lureplants)? Was the mod applied to an existing world, or you create a new world with the mod enabled and still have this issue?

Yes, that's happen even when it is one of the first few items to be eaten. I did this test: I plant a bulb, wait an eye spawn, drop a log, the eye eat the log, I kill the bulb, nothing but a new bulb is dropped...

My best guess for why this is the case is that I set the modded lureplant to have an inventory with 100 slots max, so anything beyond the 100th item it eats would just be erased. Does that happen even when it is one of the first few items to be eaten?

Hey, I need some help, please. I don't know what's happening, but I can't get back the things my lure plants ate when I kill it. I keep Perish Percentage in 100% and Keep food fresh yes. But, for example, if my lure plant killed a hound and ate his teeth, if I kill the lure plant, no teeth is droped.
