Summon Dremora Thrall: Complete Edition

Description
This mod adds a new Master level Conjuration Spell to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Dremora Thrall is a summonable, permanent follower that will assist you in combat.


This is a great mod to pick up if you have, or plan on playing, a conjurer in Skyrim.



This mod adds the following features that were left out of The Elder Scrolls V SKyrim:


Master Level Conjuration Spell
---------------------------------------

A permanent, upgraded version of the Dremora Lord spell has been added to the game. You can purchase Dremora Thrall from Phinis Gestor at the College of Winterhold after completing the Conjuration Ritual Spell quest. The spell has been priced appropriately in comparison to the Storm Thrall spell that is also available at this point in the game.



Atronach Forge Integration
----------------------------------

A recipe has been added to the game that will allow you to create a Dremora Thrall spell tome at the Atronach Forge underneath the College of Winterhold. I won't give out the recipe here, but it shouldn't be difficult to figure out. HINT: 3 items, one is a ruby. It is also possible to find the recipe while adventuring, as I've added it to the appropriate loot tables.



Not Your Little Sister's Dremora Lord
----------------------------------------------

The Dremora Thrall is a moderately more powerful version of the Dremora Lord you learn to summon earlier in the game. The Dremora Thrall also wields a Daedric Battleaxe and cool new helm that help differentiate it from lesser, imitation Dremoras.



Fear Not Townspeople!
-----------------------------

I've removed the "That spell looks dangerous!" comments from both the Dremora Lord and Dremora Thrall spells in the game. This feature has been left intact for reanimating the dead, since well, that's pretty gross. NOTE: There is a bug in Skyrim that causes this dialogue to occur permanently even when you don't have a zombie follower. If you are suffering from this bug, open the console and type "player.dispelallspells". If you're wearing enchanted armor, you'll need to re-equip it in order for the enchantments to take effect again.

I like it without the "That spell looks dangerous." Funny, though, when you have your thralls with you and Vigilants of Standarr are talking about how bad Daedra are, lol.:steamhappy:

Hi Esper. I permanently disabled the "That spell looks dangerous!" line and other lines like it. For some reason, when it's enabled you just get spammed by NPC's saying the exact same line wherever you go, it's like they prioritize that one line over all others lol. Sorry about that!

Hey! Great mod! Is there a way to re-activate the "That spell looks dangerous!" quote? I just love the feeling of terryfying people with my twin Dremoras, thanks for the addon

It's one of those mods, that when I was playing on console that I was hoping to find when I moved to PC because I really wanted Dremora thralls.

Use this retexture and they look really badass with those axes and helms

Thanks daedric_cat, I'm really happy to see that people are still having fun with this mod. I never understood why Bethesda didn't give daedric summoning as much power as atronachs.

It's a shame Bioware can't add things like this to Dragon Age Inquisition. I still think Bethesda does a better job with mechanics and Bioware with charachter developement I'd like to see both companies work together now THAT would be a game!

That makes sense. As I recall, the NPC's in Skyrim only update their vendor lists once a day or so. So, after you complete the quest you'll want to return the next day to purchase the spell.

I completed the quest had to leave then come back in order for him to sell it because it was not listed in his inventory directly after completeing the quest. (sigh) impatience always gets me lol
