Paul Gascoigne In His Prime

The first in what I expect to be a series, here's the legend himself, Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne created by me after a weekend of meticulously studying videos of Gazza playing. My aim has been to create him as realistically as possible, as if he were the young man playing for Spurs that the world remembers most fondly.

Essentially, I tweaked his history and stats to make it seem as if he were playing in the 1990/91 season that followed the Italia '90 World Cup--his prime years in my opinion.

For those who don't know about "Gazza," he was a very promising English talent that many expected to become one of the best players in the world at his peak. Unfortunately though, for both Gazza and fans of English football, the crazy man from Gateshead never truly fulfilled his potential. He suffered from severe alcoholism and a series of other psychological problems that hindered the rest of his playing career, cementing him as one of football's most tragic heroes.

Can you change history and give Gazza the career we all wanted him to have? Can you fulfill his potential and transform him into one of the world's greatest? Or, just manage alongside his career and watch the magestic man either crash--or, hopefully conquer.

Wipe those tears off your keyboard, because the World Cup is fast approaching and Gazza's out for redemption.
