Caterpillar 785C Mining Truck for Lowboy Trailer

Description
Since 1.33 the trailer/cargo is available as a standard job as well as a special transport job.

This mod adds CAT (aka MUTT) 785C as a new heavy cargo to your game. It requires Heavy Cargo Pack DLC because it uses some resources from that pack (jeep, spreader and some textures). The trailer provided with this mod is a modified 3 axle "Lowboy 55L" (aka Magnitude 55L) with added spreader attachment. Since game version 1.39 this mod only contains the truck model and required def files so it no longer depends on these DLCs. Note: this load is very wide, wider than any currently available cargo in ATS - that might cause some issues.

I can only think of one instance where this mod screwed me and it wasnt necessarily the mod's fault. I got stuck and had to use assistance, and then it put me in a service area with a tiny ass gate as the only way out. No possible way to get out with it and lost my 154k pay :( (Other than that its fun, its not fast, but fun.)

Good morning.
I think this MOD is good!
It's true, the load exceeds "a little", but you have to think about it before committing. For the width of the roads, you just have to stop and opposite, it stops and you can try to pass.
On the other hand, for compatibility, I will check, I am up to date, for the game.
I repeat myself, nothing to say. In real life, you have to transport these things!
A suggestion: to no longer have a problem with this kind of size, we take an airship!
See you.

It seems that you took a standard job. Special transport jobs are marked with red-white lines bar on the job list. If you take one of these jobs you will have all the usual assistance. I'm keeping the standard jobs for those who like the additional challenge of driving without the escort vehicles. I did many of the standard jobs and most of the time I have no issues. Of course you may get a route that is particularly hard but then it's up to you if you select a standard job or a special transport one.

There were no flag vehicles to stop traffic for me on the job I took. It was just a trailer with a cargo that took up too much road. And it was impossible to do this job because any traffic on the other side, would always hit you and incur crash violations.

500+ miles also seems too much for a wide load like this, because going through cities, you're going to either hit other vehicles or you're going to hit stuff like trees, signs, or those pylons. All of which will jerk your vehicle to a halt.

And it's just not worth the massive amount of penalties you'll incur.

It is available as a special transport job as you can see on one of the screenshots above.

It's a nice look. But this mod absolutely needs to be changed to special transport, or else broken further into pieces.

The truck is far too wide and takes up too much road.
Just got this one on a 500+ mile delivery and I'm canceling because it's not going to work.
I've already hit a crash offense because even while sticking towards the edge of the road, it's crowding into the opposing lane.

And it's a big risk to hit the pylons on the edge of the road.

Nice concept, but needs to be worked on.
