Scenario: IF the item you want is only floor 34. Steal the item and kill everything on the floor to progress to 35. Before you enter floor 35 your game will autosave for you, which will allow you to simply exit or die. Thus you can load your save file up in the main game. Every 10 floors simply allow you to manually save.
So basically go into trial mode and do the things and then save after every 10 battles, then load that save up to carry it over to your main save.
Interesting method, though it can be too-easily-abused to get rare items much sooner than intended. I might do it near the end of the game if nothing else.
If you load your trial mode save from the main menu "Load" then all items you found plus LP carry over to your main save and the trial mode progress is loss.
THIS IS OKAY because there will be no way you can 100% trial mode at your current stage of the game. Using it to get LP and items is helpful.
I fought aldrammech a few days ago on Weak Mode and used trial mode to get 3 diamond armlets to be immune to thunder. Very Helpful.
Or in the case of Weak Mode as well getting more than 1 turtle Choker for Magic-GIL casting which can be stolen from gil snapper on trial 30.
Its a very helpful way to farm LP and items so i recommend you use it as much as you can.
