Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sally Acorn (aka Sally in Sonic 3) is a fan-made ROM of the game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (and Sonic and Knuckles) for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, with Princess Sally Acorn as a playable character in place of Sonic the Hedgehog.

The game was modified by Sonic Retro member E-122-Psi, with additional programming and coding by other members including Selbi, Markeyjester and Snkenjoi.

Sally plays pretty much the same as in Sally in Sonic 2. Sally also replaces Sonic in Competition Mode. She plays identically to 1 Player Mode.

I do not own this mod. If they wanted taken down, I will.

Funny, I dunno how they could miss this when making the mod back in the day; but using Sally's ability's (weapons) underwater crashes and resets the game. If it weren't for that bug, this game would be perfect.

I love how this mod works it's so interesting! However I feel it needs some tweaking. I don't like how sally can only use her laser once in midair. There is a MASSIVE issue with hydrocity zone act 2, it is a PAIN to get past all the breakable walls because you have to slide to break them! and you get little to no room to do so, it's got to be so you can easily break them with the laser or people are going to get annoyed there. Thankfully there IS a extra life in that area so no worries about a game over.
