What is Rocket League?

Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One, OS X, Linux, and Nintendo Switch later being released. In June 2016, 505 Games began distributing a physical retail version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment taking over those duties by the end of 2017.

DropShot - Dropshot is a game mode added to Rocket League on March 22, 2017, where, instead of goals, players must break hexagonal floor panels into which the ball can fall.

Rumble - Rumble is an epic battle royale-style addition which released on September 8th 2016 and comes stacked with randomized power-ups. Whether you’re equipped with the Haymaker, the Swapper, or the Tornado, each one of the 11 new power-ups brings an extra dimension to the classic Rocket League formula.

SnowDay - Snow Day is a game mode in Rocket League where the ball is replaced by a hockey puck and the grass is replaced by ice.

Hoops - Hoops is a basketball-style game mode added on April 25, 2016, where the goals are replaced by two baskets. It is the only mode that uses the Dunk House arena.

Rocket Labs - Rocket Labs is a series of prototype arena layouts with virtual reality-like aesthetics. It was added to the game on February 10, 2016, as a separate online casual playlist, along with three arena layouts.

Mutators - Mutators are alternative presets that can be used to customize gameplay in Exhibition Mode or Private Match. Introduced on November 9, 2015, Mutators can change a number of game variables like ball shape, size, gravity and more which alter how the game is played.

Rocket League Arenas

Arenas Preferences - An “Arenas” button has been added to the Playlist menu that allows players to “Like” or “Dislike” specific maps. “Liking” an arena increases the odds that you will play it in online matches, while “Disliking” has the opposite effect.

Global Arenas: DFH Stadium, MainField, Champions Field, Urban Central, Beckwith Park, Utopia Coliseum, Wasteland, Neo Tokyo, AquaDome, StarBase ARC, FarmStead.
