Killing Floor 2 - How to Export 3D model of weapons / Make your own skins !

Most of 3D models exists on the web but Gunslinger's weapons never exists...
Google is useless to this problem...
so, I found this solution!

And I teach you that how to paint.

1. Use Umodel
Umodel
www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel
You did Download, then export that you want any 3D Model in Killing floor 2 folder using by Umodel.
Push "OK"
Check "WEP_1P_"any weapon"_MESH.upk"
then push "Export"
If you success the section, you got "Wep_1stP_Deagle_Rig.psk".

Let's next section.

2. Use Blender
Blender
www.blender.org/download/
First at all, enable .psk package in blender.
Files > Show user preferences
Check these and Save user preferences.

Files > Import > Skeleton Mesh(.psk)
Choose "Wep_1stP_Deagle_Rig.psk" which made a little while ago.

Oh no, trushes around my deagle!
Remove it using Right click and Delete button.

Boom. You got a beautiful 3D model!


Files > Export > Wavefront(.obj) (Turn model file into for model file of Photoshop)
Save it with any name.



3. Use Photoshop
*Optional*
If you need "How to paint" it.
Photoshop
www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.html
Choose "Right" view.
Right click the 3D model > Replace diffusion texture( which is at the first of list)
and then import default skin of desert eagle.
(\...\umodel_win32\UmodelExport\WEP_1P_Deagle_TEX\Texture2D \ "Wep_1stP_Deagle_D.tga")

Anyway, I will make Japanese "痛銃".

I will make Dragon Skin.
And "Merge Down" the texture to 3D model in Layer.
And "Merge Down" the texture to 3D model in Layer.
4. Killing floor 2 SDK
*Override save

Your file is in the Folder that
C:\Users\ "your name" \Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Unpublished\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Deagle

WEP_1P_Deagle_TEX.upk
so, put it into...

C:\Users\ "your name" \Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Published\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Deagle
5. Show in game




*Optional* 6. How to add a normal map and mask
NormalMap Online
cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online

1. Paste your texture file in there.
2. Adjust the normal map...
3. Download it.

Normalmap is _N. add it in there.

The more white, the more metallic luster to add to weapon.
Mask is _M. add it in there.
Dragon Fire with metallic luster and bumpty!

I'm afraid Mediafire's url can't use in Steam. Hence it have been added a backspace between ".com" from "mediafire".

Hello, I did not understand the guide very well, one because I am using a translator, but it is my minor problem, it is that photoshop in another language and without the detailed steps I got lost, I do not understand how the image was adapted to the gun automatically, in my photoshop the image as a 2D layer does not interfere with how the texture of the weapon looks, please help me, I just need that :(

if you have the sdk you can export the models as fbx files directly.
